I realize it's been a LONG time since Xin came out, but for those of you who remember, who was worse? Release Xin or release Camille?

Definitely Xin. Camille might be too strong right now, but nothing comes close to how broken old Xin was.

Xin never hit 100% pick/ban in challenger, and Xin was fixed faster.

Banrate and how fast they were fixed doesn't matter. On release he was completely broken. Camille is really strong, but she's nowhere near hotfix worthy like other champions have been. If you've seen his champion spotlight or any other videos of him you would see just how broken he was.

He could knock you up while you were knocked up and could get multiple ults off every fight. After Camille uses her E she has no other means of getting to you and keeping you with her outside her ult, but if Xin hit you with his E (which was even stronger back then), there was no escaping even if you were someone like Kass. Camille needs her ult to stop you from escaping while Xin just needed a basic ability. Don't even get me started on his god tier sustain either.

People are just butthurt atm about an op champion and are saying all of these irrational things just to make themselves feel better tbh.

they do the same thing

but release xin zhao didn't have AOE cc and he couldn't chase you across the map

Just being annoying but, he did have AoE CC ;P

It had to be done. For great justice.

Camille easily. Xin never hit this level of pick/ban in high tiers. And was fixed faster.

Camille is NOTHING compared to Xin. Xin would turret dive at level 2, kill you in 3 auto's, and walk out.

Camille completely craps on release xin, all release xin had was raw numbers, while camille has numbers and a kit for every single situation and every single one of her spells is overpowered by itself.

Release Braum was the strongest champion I've ever seen in League. He could solo anyone early to mid game while having standard support items...

People saying Camille is more OP never played or played against Release Xin. Because of the way his release W worked, Release Xin Zhao would basically have minimum of 8 seconds (more if you had greater than 1.0 attack speed) reduced cooldown in all of his other abilities every time his W was up, and his W only had an 8 second cooldown. Meaning at level 9 onwards, his W had 100% up time and every auto-attack Xin would make for the rest of the game reduced his cooldowns by one second each. Combine that with far higher damage all around for all of his abilities, lower mana costs, far higher base stats, plus his other passive which made it so that he healed for every auto-attack, and the pre-nerfed flash, and you had this insane champion that could literally 1v5 the entire enemy team at 50% health and end up at full health with all skills ready for another rotation.
