Presumably a majority of wins are also attributed to auto-fill.
Why is this system still enabled in ranked?
Ranked has turned into a complete fucking joke. Skill is largely irrelevant, with the outcome boiling down to which team has more auto-fills and in which roles.

It's not necessary. My queues are under 2 minutes and the auto-fill is evenly distributed between support, jungle, and top. The system aggressively tries to fill roles.

autofill is probably needed in higher elo's but below diamond the que times were never longer than 6 mins.

My queues were 15-20 minutes and the game quality was highly preferable to the shit we have now.
I've decayed to low Platinum and I'm getting an auto-fill in almost every game, with less than 2 minute queues. Your argument has no weight. This isn't high Diamond, and auto fills are rampant.

Worse matchmaking with everyone in roles they can play is preferable to closer MMR with a random set of players on one or both teams having no fucking idea how to play their role or champion.
I don't think anyone queues for ranked and thinks 'I want to get into a game asap, even if it means one of my team mates has no idea how to play their role!'

Yes if support main gets autofilled its fked up but we have no alternatives
Enjutsu1 votesSupport can't really get autof-filled, you get auto-fill protection when you get auto-filled or play support.
It was most likely his secondary option and with how guaranteed you are to get support role, current support mains barely even need to know theyr secondary role.

You can go and look up my rank, I could be bronze 5 for all it mattered, but you should be able to play all 5 roles. Plenty of high ELO players can play all 5, and I know for a fact that at high ELO, people trade roles if you ask usually. Don't blame hardstuck on anything but yourself.
