Gnar changes

I am happy that riot finally buffed gnar and the buffs were pretty sweet. I just wanted to say that personally i feel that if these buffs still don't bring gnar to a balanced state i.e. atleast 50% winrate then i propose these 2 changes.

  1. His mega Q has the same cooldown as his mini Q has when caught, even if mega gnar does not pick it up. Although it is still blocked by minions. Logically, mega gnar should be able to get get another boulder just like he got the first one unlike the boomerang which if he doesn't catch will go past him. In lane it is incredibly hard to control his rage bar and just before he is about to change to his mega form, and turns red, the enemy backs away and most of them have dashes (before anyone says use E). In team fights it just feels impossible to control his rage bar and turn mega gnar in just the right moment to get that ult off. I think this change to his mega Q will bring more safety to him in lane and will help him outside lane to catch escaping opponents. I just feel that mega gnar has way too many obstacles to cross before it has some uses and this is not really fair on those who have to manage his rage bar all the damn time, even when hitting the turret you have to think if i want to change into mega form or not. I feel they should be rewarded more for carrying this burden.

  2. If the former change is not good enough then i think giving some freedom over his conversion to mega form would help gnar mains a lot. The players should be allowed to change into mega gnar when his rage bar hits 100 by pressing R again. Gnar's rage bar stays 100 for 10 second before it starts to decline. Similarly to how yasuo's Q works. This will give a lot of freedom to players to change into mega gnar when they feel right and will make his ult much more use-able as well.

Only if gnar is still not viable after this change. He is 100% top and currently all the top meta picks dominate him. If they are not nerfed then the other sensible decision would be to buff gnar instead.

hes already an early game bully in lane and they buff him in patch 7.13 i think the buff are way more than enough. hes already hard to lane against for a melee champ since he just harrass you down unless you punish a mistake. he really dosent need the 7.13 buffs so why buffing him again? makes no sense already that its unpleasant to play against

Yh i don't want him to be overbearing but he is suffering though. With a low playrate and a below average winrate, it really means that gnar is suffering and this has stayed the same for many patches so its not an indirect effect i.e. buffing or nerfing some items could affect the champs that use it. Also i know he is a lane bully which he is specifically designed for and tbh balanced around it but any top laner can all-in on gnar if he gets caught i.e. kennen, jayce and fiora can all beat him easily. He is not a bully against meta picks hence he is suffering. My proposed changes are simple, i am not asking for increased damage or anything just that gnar has more freedom between its mega and mini form.
