Why can tahm kench invalidate any engage you do on his adc.

If his adc gets fed it might as well be gg because it will be impossible to kill adc. Tahm will just eat him and you just wasted your engage.

Because that is his kit? Because similar kits existed but not quite. Think Kalista ult, Janna shield, Thresh lantern. Why is Yasuo a melee adc? Because it didn't exist yet and its a nifty idea that could make a neat champion. Only so many viable mechanics exists. Tahm has this one.

Don't full engage on the adc with Tahm around. If you have a teamcomp that needs to do so anyways, tough. Draft better next time.

“draft better next time” Stop giving this excuse whenever a support is gamebreaking op. A mage will always have counterplay because you can always dodge skillshots. An assassin will always have counterplay because you can just group. A fighter will always have counterplay because you can just kite him. Meanwhile the only way to counter janna or kench is to not pick one of 75% of the champion roster.

The counter to Tahm and Janna is to: fake an engage to bait the devour or shield and switch focus to another carry or to the support themselves OR CC Tahm then kill the ADC/burst the squishy Janna into oblivion.

If there was no counter to them, their win rate and play rate would be higher, don't you think? Since they cannot be countered and LoL is a very competitive game it stands to reason an uncounterable strategy would be popular, no?

Say it with me: Tahm and Janna do not make their team mates completely uncounterable and omnipotent. They, at best, save the carry for a few seconds. If the enemy team plays around this better than yours does, you lose. That's on you and your team.

The sooner you realize it the faster you WILL be able to come up with a way to deal with them when you see them.

SOUNDS like laziness to me. You know you can chase off the adc or what’s we know as zoning while killing the support. Yeah it sucks the adc got away but if you are keeping them from damaging that’s just as good. It isn’t always about the kill.

Kench is not game breaking op. Otherwise his winrate would be a lot higher than 48%.

How about, instead of "draft better next time" we try "be smarter than him". Don't tower dive when you know he'll just eat his ADC and kite you. Or if his ADC is fed and on a killing spree, hide your team in a bush, send in an assassin to fake out this skill, he'll die, but you'll get shutdown gold. Or... I could go on. Make smart plays.

Saying that one skill has no counterplay honestly just means you aren't smart enough to beat it.

I've seen all of these.

Alistar is gamebreaking op. A "never die" ult, and everything is CC. unfair

Blitzcrank is gamebreaking op. One hook and the ADC is in his team. nerf naow.

Ekko is gamebreaking op. An ult that resets everything for him, a giant stun that is as big as half a lane, insane burst!!! No counterplay

Annie is gamebreaking op. A stun every four hits? Can one shot ADCs from bush? Along with huge area damage? fire balance teeam

Tryndamere is gamebreaking op. Can go invincible and two shot everyone? pouting noises

I usually try to fake him out, like one would do with Morgana and her spell shield. Don't hard engage, but be assertive enough to entice the support to act on your offensive action. If you blow everything all at once before he has had the opportunity to use a single skill, you're sort of asking for a bad time.

It's the same to Lulu, Janna, any other support that decided to use the only peeling skill on one of his teammate. If that happens, your team can burst down other instead. I always hate people saying that: "oh that lulu use W on enemy, oh Janna used shield on ADC", if she used that on his ADC, that means your team's support can do something on her engage/debuff instead of her ADC. If your team's support really know how to play, she will exhaust on enemy's ADC quickly and dis-engage/shield you as well.

It's always one sided board people that having hatred against support player.

Tahm is passively offensive champion, but he's scared of pokes and CC. besides his W has pretty long CD, During that time, you can outrade the shit out of his ADC because tahm only have Q that look like a poke skill. Otherwise just wait for the jungle.
