I have had Yasuo's, Vayne's, Riven's and Tahm's call Kindred cancer
This amuses me
This amuses me
So that makes Kindred chemo.
You sir are amazing.
I've seen a Riven call Urgot cancer...
then there's every board member calling Yorick cancer...you literally forget him after level 3...he has no damage, no mana and his extra tankiness drains alll of his mana
i've seen one yorick do well and they got to be very tanky...in a 3v3 match... XD
._. cant tell if trolling or nah
if yorick were really such a dangerous element to play against, why isn't he used more often? why is it that the good yoricks i've seen tend to frequent 3v3 with him?
i've never seen a yorick in a standard match that even knew what his ultimate did XD
Yorick is the definition of an anti fun champion, so he is kept in the same state as poppy: if someone finds a way to make it strong enough for competitive, he WILL get nerfed.
Yes and no—it's not that he isn't allowed to be strong competitively (he's shown up nearly a dozen times in competitive the past 2 seasons where Poppy only showed up maybe twice to mixed success), it's that he isn't allowed to be strong as an individual champion. If he were powerful on his own (as in good enough that he isn't only worth choosing as an ult bot for a hypercarry) to be considered good in say solo queue, then he would be broken as heck in competitive and on the off chance that you have a good team in solo queue he would wreck in lane and then dominate the rest of the game. He's kind of like Zilean, his ult is absurdly powerful but is totally reliant on having a good teammate to use it on, and to prevent him being too reliable, the rest of his kit has to be underwhelming for the sake of balance.
Eg. Poppy is more toxic of a kit and had been nerfed into the ground back when Yorick was THE no true counter top laner.
Let me put it this way, GetCaughtGG made a name for himself playing Yorick and Cho in a stale meta. Yorick should have been on the rework list with Irelia a long long time ago.
Well, he was on the rework list, several times in fact, he's just been taken on and off the shelf repeatedly as interest and resources have dictated.
At least this time they said he isn't going back to the icebox until a rework gets finished, however long that takes.
That's dumb, Urgot is obviously diabetes...
HAD diabetes. The chair fixed that after they revived him the second time.
While I agree with what you're saying, that's not how apostrophes work.
Thank you for pointing this out. I didn't have the heart to tell them
Jeez, Tahm got pulled in the boards circlejerk, goddammit LCS =_=
It was only a matter of time. . .
I get what you mean. I've had zac, shen, leona called my janna btchy for blocking their dashes, kinda gave me pleasure =]]
To be fair, it can get really annoying having to deal with that tornado.
Tahm is considered cancer now.
Thanks, LC$
Before LCS: Shit teir After LCS: Broken cancer bench the kench
Nothing about tam has changed
Nah, the forums complained about Tahm getting buffs he really didn't need. Riot didn't seem to care. There was actually quite a few "Stop Buffing Tahm Kench threads."
Sometimes the forums are stupid about calling champions weak, but Tahm was not one of those champions.
I see mostly Rengars call Kindred cancer.
Lmao plays a champ with 3 passives and 6 abilities and has the balls to call anything cancer.
It's his E, Balls strike.
(Seriously though, bola actually means ball in spanish/portuguese.)
Glad it isn't urgot yorick players.
Urgot and Yorick are like prostate cancer, sure does suck, but compared to brain cancer...
Uhmm, I don't think I should be making these comparisons
Who?
Kindred has a safe jungle, range, good mobility, % damage, built in sustain, and a powerful slow , as well as a better trundle zone control field, and I could deal with all of that except for the ult.
Bard ult has a windup for a reason, why does Kindred get an instant speed AOE Tryn ult that makes any kind of burst or dive comp basically unplayable against her unless you're like 10k up?
I think the ult's pretty fair. I mean, you actually have to be skilled with it and be aware of your surroundings. You can't just hit the button and BOOM, no death for you. Yes, the ult can help you and your teammates, but it can also get you killed if you don't use it properly. Not to mention it can be countered if you've got knockbacks, throws, grabs, etc. An enemy Gnar could easily get into the ult area and throw everybody out of it. A Blitz could grab someone out of it. Syndra could knock people out of it, and so on, it's just really early so a lot of people aren't really sure what to do with it yet
So overall, including her ult, I think Kindred's extremely balanced and well made
I think the kits overloaded, is too safe in the woods for a ranged champion with that kind of mobility, jungles at too high a health, all of this is cancerous, but the ults the real problem on the kit
Right now using the ult is actually very simple. Is your team initiated on? Are you at a net health defecate thanks to that initiation? Kindred ult.
Congrats, your ult is designed to massively benefit whatever team is behind in the teamfight, and thus makes identifying the time to use it extremely easy. is someone on your team about to die, are 1 or less people about to die on their team? Ult.
if 2 or more are about to die on their team, hold it.
Since it means during the course of the ult damage gets equalized on the burst target and the target of your teams choice, it makes playing any kind of burst or pick comp against this character a nightmare, without the ability to brute force your way through the ult. Headbutt or Skarner ult seems like a good idea in vacuum, but you likely had to use that to get your pick in the first place. And since your movement skill can't kill, you run a very real risk of knocking the target to safety and botching any chance you had to begin with
You understand Kindred is one of the slowest champions in league right now, right? Look at her base movement and her dash cooldown compared to other mobile champions.
She is, by far, not super mobile compared to others
the same move speed as jinx, ashe, ez, corki etc.
Except she can vault. Cast field to reset vault to 2 seconds, vault again within field, and then vault outside of field with 2 second cdr from her original cast.
EVEN WHEN YOU MOVE OUT OF FIELD AS FAST AS POSSIBLE IN A CHASE: you get broken wings.
Now think about the Riven bitching on the forum, and let that sink in that this is a ranged champ with build in % health mechanics and a powerful and reliable slow... and try using your head for a change bruv.
You might be suprised.
Now think about the fact that Riven is manaless and much tankier than Kindred, even with the latter's ult, in addition to having two forms of hard CC rather than the single slow.
You're one to talk about using your head, bruv.
Know that Kindred can only vault twice (3 with 35% CDR) when her wolf is up on that 2 second cooldown. And know that her % current hp scales up slowly and compensates her 3rd lowest base AD in the game.
She also only has 1 slow, unlike Jinx with a root and slow AND a speed boost, corki with his large leap, ez with a longer range flash, and Ashe with a permanent slow and a stun on her kit.
She also has mana, a very short range, and her only true sustain comes up about once in a team fight

All of this is true. However Kindred's % health damage, while slow to ramp, has no cap against monsters.
And just like Morgana and her 3 second snare, when you have a mechanic that lots of champs have, but one champ is unquestionable numerically better, that champion becomes toxic.
Incoming 20 minute solo barons in the LCS.
You won't be able to solo baron at 20 minutes unless you get 27 marks and have average CS gold (140 minions). She is fragile and has a hard time healing and tanking without the itemization help.
And just because she doesn't cap monster damage, doesn't mean she's toxic. She would be toxic if that % hp was magic or true damage that scaled up by 2%-3% each mark.
Hi there
I'm back from my burial in the kindred release threads, and I'm just here to say "I told ya so"
sustain too high, damage too high, ult was target of nerfing. (though i would have still given it a fore-swing similar to bard ult over cd increase. )
Metalgear Teemu was right about Darius over Garen, he was right about support velkoz taking off in Korea, he was right about Support viegar, and he was right about Kindred
I am (Mostly) Always Right.
Kneel and worship me.

Kindred W heal down. R cooldown up.
Kindred’s strengths have become pretty apparent as players continue mastering them, utilizing their high damage and sustain to take even the slightest advantage and run rampant. These changes are about restricting access to their more powerful tools when they’re most likely to pull ahead while introducing more risk to their death-defying maneuvers. W - Wolf's Frenzy PASSIVE HEAL 63-114 at levels 1-18 ⇒ 43-94 at levels 1-18 R - Lamb's Respite COOLDOWN 150/130/110 ⇒ 160/130/100
The amount of times i've seen a kindred ult help the OTHER team win a fight is just too many.
I can't be the only one who thinks Yasuo isn't OP?
The best defense against Yasuo is just having rational thinking and a quick game. He's item dependent so don't let him get to that state and heavily reliant on CC to be powerful.

He's not OP, but his kit is pretty unhealthy. I would argue that he's the most mobile character in the game, though his mobility is more situational compared to, say, Kassadin and Riven. He's resourceless, has basically no need for CDR and his shield is good for anti-poke or getting away with mistakes and he can effectively negate a lot of harass while laning with his Wind Wall.
The sad thing is I think Kindred is so damn well designed. Being this ranged ADC Jungler, everything about her is brilliant! Until we get to that damn ultimate of hers. I mean anti death mechanics are just annoying to play against period. The only one I don't mind too much is Aniva's since it has counter play.
Kindred just drops this annoying anti-death zone, I understand it works within her theme, but it's pretty damn random in her kit and could be replaced with so many other things. I can just imagine the obnoxious combos pros are going to come up with.
It's one thing when champions like Tryndamere or Aatrox have anti-death mechanics in themselves, but champions that provide other champions with get out of jail free cards that forgive them for a mistake is just lame. This includes Tahm Kench's Devour and Thresh's Lantern.
Too much punctuation. Only thing really weird is her ult,and its not cancerous, just a gamble.
Now if only
and
called Kindred cancer we'd be in the guiness world records for irony.
The only thing I don't like about Kindred is the ult. I mean, they are the embodiment of death, and their ultimate ability is to... prevent everyone from dying? A better ult would be a large AD and Lifesteal steroid (one doesn't stack with the other) that also comes with having less armor, mr and taking more damage over the duration. This would also encourage team play as Kindred would need protection during their ult, or else they would be killed very quickly.
teamfight? Nah out for coffee. Back in a sec
