Every year it happens... LITERALLY every year... Kog breaks and becomes extremely oppressive to play against at all stages of the game. His early game needs to be addressed he is far too strong early for how powerful his late game is. Kog is like the menstrual cycle of league of legends.
NodirjonSattarov1 votesthe last time he was touched (besides the rune update) he was nerfed because apparently his AP midlane was "too strong". His E was nerfed, R was changed to do flaccid execute damage for hardly any base damage.
In return his W was buffed 1%. Want to know how much 1% is? To a 4k HP tank with 150MR the % change in damage is 16 magic damage. Wits End by itself does more magic damage than the 1% increase.
Lastly, according to statistics from several sites his winrate drops as the game proceeds. He has a conditional powerful late game. Wonder why? Crit outscales on-hit incredibly.
Maybe its not Kog'Maw, maybe its the supports he's paired with like Lulu, Braum, and Janna.
