So I just played a game vs Wukong as Jax. I came out of lane 1/8/1 (or something like that) and Wukong came out of lane 11/1/2 (or something like that). So he kept snowballing, and I kept farming as Jax because we all know that he scales like a monster. And before I knew it, I could 1v1 a 15/2/4 Wukong as a 6/11/4 Jax... Buff Wukong. Make his passive more useful in lane. Don't increase his damage, but increase his late game defenses. And nerf Jax so I can play him more often. Maybe increase W CD.

I was right there with you until you said "buff WuKong."

He doesn't duel well against Jax. Doesn't mean he isn't fine. MOST champions can't duel Jax. Jax is currently doing far too much opening burst, but the entire premise of Jax is that the longer you fight him toe to toe - the worse it becomes for you and your team.

I think op experience is irrevelant... but Wukong honestly deserve buff (cause he's trash in decent elo).

I suppose that depends on the job you intend for him to do. Right now most are playing him as basically an assassin that dives into team fights to snatch up the squishies. Incidentally, that isn't what WuKong's kit was designed for, and therefore he doesn't do as well as actual assassins.

If you lowered the damage scaling of his Q, slightly, and re-buffed the repeatedly nerfed remainder of the kit, he could easily find his way back into being a bruiser.

Wukong isnt played full AD due to his scaling. He's played glass canon cause :

he has no sustain
**no CC/utility **

Unless riot add cc in his kit, he'll never be played as bruiser.

His W used to slow, his ult is a long sustained knockup, and his E was also a MS boost. I think you might be mistaking the idea of "I don't understand the game" for "He was never designed to be a fucking assassin, but that's how he's played."

Riot as usual adviced stupid thing when they said you he should be build triforce > tanks (bruiser). Even in old season Allorim (old best Wukong NA) builded him full AD (unless GA).

they messed up with their design, thats all. Nobody will build a champion as bruiser if his only cc has 1 min of cd.

I really don't think that Wukong is anywhere near as weak as people say he is personally, but meph, that said, yeah, he does need a new passive.

If it was 30 minutes in the game then Wukong was no longer ahead anymore, at 6/11 on Jax by 30 minutes I'd be full build so any advantage in lane is already lost.
If it wasn't 30 minutes into the game you won because Jax is a Skirmisher and Wukong is a Diver. Skirmishers will naturally out-scale Divers in the 1v1 because they are built generally around splitpushing.

Wukong is fine, in fact just had some WU jg v JAX jg action. I imagine it was a contest of build and runes after a point. Wu isn't supposed to be a continuous fighter like Jax is, he's supposed to be trickier moving in and out if not out right going for the otk.

Wukong is fine

first mistake. The pick is trash. The pick has no positive match up top and take to much time to be relevant in jungle (again im not talking about low elo, im talking when player know how to play ). You think the pick is fine cause you saw a Wukong in your game being fed.

Yikes, back to rank shaming again. Naming and shaming really. Try to keep the conversation constructive and without emotion.

You might think all he is ever supposed to do is go in yolo mid late game and that's it, but I have a feeling the more savvier and experienced ilk like myself would disagree with that.

Wukong is fine as he is. Having played a bit longer than you I can safely say I know a little better, but you could just ask a Wukong main instead for their opinion if you like.

Wukong need a buff or a new passive (but in the end would be a buff tbh). As Jax you could and should definitly win the laning against Wukong (unless jungler intervention).

During late your kda dont matter.
