Vayne is not and never was a niche pick

I know the Vayne hate is in full swing on the boards, every third post on the hot page is a vayne hate thread, and that's all right, but please for the love of god stop saying stupid and untrue things.

I cant believe that comments stating she's a niche pick are unironically upvoted.

She is not a niche pick, she is one of the oldest and most popular champs in the game, whenever a meta suits her her playrate goes through the roof, even when weak she is mained by so many people that you'll see her often, players like gosu literally rose to fame cause of this champ.

And no her role isnt niche as well, she isnt a dedicated anti tank class, no, adcs in general arent a dedicated anti-tank class contrary to what many upvoted posts and comments will have you believe.

Vayne and adcs in general are designed to deal dps from a distance, tanks are more susceptible to dps than burst, obviously, but that doesnt magically mean that you, a 0 defensive item assassin or mage should take the same amount of time to be killed as an actual tank just cause you believe that an adc is meant to be a tank killer and shouldnt deal any damage to you.

Im so sick of people mistaking what they wished the game to be with what they think the game should be. No, Vayne being good at 1v1 isnt a bug, it isnt something that accidentally happened and stayed in the game for years, she was intentionally designed to be that way.

Now im not saying she's not strong rn, just stop pretending that she is doing something that's somehow different and she's not supposed to do like kill squishies or kite.
