Numbers and statistics : Has the Game really changed in a bad way or Not ?
Hello guys here are some stats and numbers i took before and after Pre season
For those calculations I took a sample of 18 games. All those games are successive games and they are not favored selections (you can check my references).
here are the comparisons before pre season (october 2017) and after pre season (december 2017) (2 MONTHS) :

So what does this indicates us :
-
Before the changes Turrets lasted more 15sec (not a lot)
-
Game is less balanced (Difference between scores has increased a lot)
-
Game lenght has decreased by 8min.
-
There are less kills per game because games are shorter
-
The kills per minute are the same
-
However the calculation of the variance indicates us that what has really increased a lot is the fact that most of the kills aren't in big teamfights but in successive little skirmishes/fights. Character fed = moves a lot while others aren't. So they don't move as much as the fed one => SNOWBALL factor increased a lot<=
While we are ingame it's difficult to have an objective view of what really happens.
The numbers can help to see a reality that we perhpas don't see.
Now what do you think about all those changes ?
