Black Cleaver's broken enough on ranged to make support MF good.

Can we please make it melee only or nerf the values for ranged?

Mortal Reminder and Black Cleaver were legitimately just used as support items.

Black Cleaver is virtually never bought for ranged. The only reason a Support MF would buy it is to apply the armor shred for teammates, and to make herself a bit tankier.

Because nobody else can reliably do team-wide procs with it.

MF's ult shows that its a problem that shouldn't even exist.

Building two AD items that offer a significant amount of utility on a starved gold income is apparently worth giving up all of the utility that a support can offer. There's something wrong with that, regardless of whether you think ADC MF or Lucian should be allowed to build it.

What's the problem?

Who cares if she can apply it teamwide? That doesn't make it broken or OP. Again, no one has ever complained about this before. You see it in a pro-game and all of a sudden it's OP? It's not OP. It's unique, and it makes the champion special.

Actually people have complained about it before.

Also, Riot guts anything that's unique special because it ends up outclassing everything else, since they gut anything that stands out.

Corki builds Sorcerers Shoes instead of normal ADC boots. Gangplank takes Bandit as a solo laner. They don't gut anything that stands out, so long as it's balanced. MF with BC is just fine, and I haven't seen people complain about it in years, and when they did, it was deemed nonsense then, too.

Gnar and Jayce are part melee, I've never seen Lucian build BC, Graves building BC is believable, but a mistake, even in his jungle heyday.

MF is the only ranged that can believably buy it.

2 of those champs are only half ranged... 1 of them is technically ranged but needs to be in melee range and only buys the item sometimes.

It's funny that you're attributing the success of that pick to Black Cleaver when it's being built as like a 4th item that comes in around 30 minutes because she has no gold.

A) stop downvoting people just because they disagree with you, that's not what the feature is for. B) She isn't "Considered more effective than a legitimate (lol Zyra is a midlane mage) support", she's just considered more effective than that particular pick in this tournament. If SKT had Braum instead of Zyra MF would get destroyed.
