Supreme Senpai691 votesThat's probably just cuz his damage is irrelevant to your KDA. With an item he'll do more damage than without one. Your job is to kill him before he kills you. But with his E and W it can make it more difficult to land skillshots which mages in the mid lane rely on which sorta makes your gold advantage useless.
