Jungle feels like shit to play
Honestly, something has to be done about this balance team.

If I'm being honest here I really enjoy this iteration fo the jungle. Now the jungle is much more about interacting with the enemy jungle so actually outplaying them with more efficient clearing, skirmishing, and counter jungling is a lot more important. You can really show that you are the better jungler now and with the overall buffed experience you can even outpace the solo lanes when you get rolling. The jungle is so much more about efficient clears and balancing farming and map pressure. Before you could mindlessly camp a lane for little downsides or not put thought into how you clear the jungle and you would still be able to compete with someone who did. This version rewards players who know what they are doing now mores than before.
The jungle is now about picking the best duelist. Literally 2/3 jungle champs are in the gutter thanks to the ridiculous crab, and if Your team isn't contesting, well, gg for you. Ain't nothing skillful about that.
You get around this through efficient pathing. A skill that sadly a lot of "jungle mains" are really weak at. Most of the junglers that are terrible were already bad before this patch. Now you don't lose when your lanes are just worse you can do something yourself. Before if you had better lanes you usually just won, ain't nothing even remotely skillful about that.
Honestly, if you can't secure scuttles, you can't compete no matter the pathing. You just have to pray to get some kills but even that it is hard but the other jungle and the lanes outlevel you too much. You can see in pro scenes what it does. It's really bad for them and they can't do much if their team can't help. If you can't secure the scuttles, you're doomed to afk farm to keep not get ouleveled too much.
That is inaccurate. Scuttle is not worth more than 2 camps and has comparable XP to that of each non buff camp individually. If you can't win the 1v1 (or the 2v2 or lanes are not responding) then the enemy jungle is almost always going for that crab. IDK about you but this makes it almost too easy to know where the enemy jungle is(hint its at the scuttle crab). You can then take this information and choose your pathing to either 1) take the enemy's camps on the other side of the map for a similar gold and xp trade while still having your camps up to let you catch up/ pull ahead, 2) go pressure a lane on the other side of the map without fear of a countersink because you know where the enemy jungle is, 3) pressure an objective on the other side of the map (dragons, first turret gold, rift herald that is better at taking multiple turrets now and is actually very easy to solo). I am sure someone can think of better/more options than I listed here but these are just some examples of how you can play the jungle when you have info about the enemy. Jungle is a great role because THINKING is a huge part of it. Improvisation is one of the best tools a jungle can have. Obviously if you are making a beeline straight for scuttle every spawn right as its spawning you are not going to be successful without playing a duelist, but fortunately there are options if you take a second to think about it.
Source for the jungle gold/exp stats. Might want to take a quick look at this.

edit: Maybe I shouldn't give away my strategies like this so that less people learn how to play in this jungle and continue to complain while losing.
Your arguments are not disproving my points. Notice how 3 does really say anything and 2 and 1 are both based on "This MIGHT happen" without any regards to how that can be played around. My entire argument is about the options that are available to you so listing 1 scenario where one of those options when there are multiple other courses of action, doesn't do anything against it. You would have to simultaneous counter every one of those options which you haven't even come close to doing.
Yes it is correct that if you are unable to recognize opportunities, think ahead, or execute the game mechanically then you will get destroyed. You can refer to this as either getting outplayed, losing, playing poorly, playing on a lower level than the other player, Whatever you want really it doesn't change what is happening. This is just true on a general level of the game. If you cannot adapt or think on your feet then jungle might not be the role you should play if even league at all.

Yeah if you were being honest, now you can tell us how you really feel.
