Why Liandry's is AMAZING on Lee Sin
I have recently been experimenting with some items on new Lee Sin (Ranging from common Athenes, Deathcap Void staff to the wild DFG, Lich Bane and Gunblade), and one item I have found to be amazing is Haunting Guise/Liandry's. Let me go into the details of why each aspect is PERFECT for new Lee Sin. First the items stats: Guise (1485 G): 25 AP, 200 Hp, 15 Mpen Liandry's (2900 G): 50 AP, 300 Hp, 15 Mpen, and a 2% current health burn over 3 seconds
So first of all the AP, a good stat since Lee Sin uses AP, and altough it is somewhat low, Lee Sin doesn't have amazing ratios anymore. Next the health, Lee Sin needs a bit of durability with the rework, since he has to go in melee range to deal good damage. Other tanky AP items (Ryali's, Rod of Ages, Abyssal Sceptor) don't function very well on Lee Sin since he doesn't utilize there unique effects well. The Magic Pen is one of my favorite things about it, if you want to snowball a lead, Guise and Sorc Boots offer 30 Mpen, offering more damage than AP. This is very true if the target isn't running MR blues. Mpen is also very nice since Lee Sin's traps now do % health damage. Lastly, the burn, if Lee Sin hits the tanky frontline with a spear, he will still do decent damage with them. It also increases the health damage from his traps by 2% (100 AP worth of damage on them), the traps also reapply the burn with each tick of damage. Also, if you get Morellonomicon, the burn applys with GW with each tick.
So what do you guys think? Give Liandry's a try in your next Lee Sin game, and see how it works out.
