Unpopular opinion.

MIA is no excuse for getting killed by another laners opponent. That's why there are wards right? Like I get it, it'd be nice to know things like where the other laners are at all times, but champs like Leblanc can literally go from midlane to bot lane in 10 seconds or so. So I could be back at base buying an item that would take 3 seconds to click on the item and get out of spawn pool and at that point my laner is already missing.

Leblanc using W and RW to go to bot lane is such a waste of mana and abilities though and drastically reduces what she can do for a gank when W and R are on cool down so...Talon might be a better roaming comparison.

I just always play with the expectation that the jungler is in river bush unless I see him somewhere on map.

But u can always ping it a couple of times even if mid is in lane..just to keep the team focused

Downvoted because title. Titles should show the content of the post and I'm getting sick of seeing "unpopular opinions."

I don't see why this is an unpopular opinion. Keeping track of your enemy is just not your responsibility(It's EVERYONE'S responsibility), and people are like "What no mia?" even when you JUST DIED TO THEM. It's a friggin global message basically telling everyone they're likely to be going to another lane, or back to base. Do I need to ping MIA every time they back too? I had one game where someone LITERALLY SAW Zed going up to top lane, and then got mad because I didn't ping an MIA. There were wards ALL THE WAY THROUGH TOP. It's ridiculous how people don't watch the map. I don't fuss at people for not MIAing their laners when they come into my lane. I expect them to if I see their icon heading down or up from sight and then disappearing.

The minimap is a very small part of your screen, if you can see YOUR laner going mid, you can see MY mid laner going top just as well.

The best part is when you do ping it and they're like "what no mia" and Im just like "read the chat"

I don't want to be that one guy, but you should always call MIA anyways because let's get real here, you have to assume that your teammates are idiots and don't watch the map.

I get your point and agree with you on that, though. What's even funnier is when we clearly knew laning is long over, and they still flame teammates for "not calling MIA". Like.... come on.
