I feel like every mage nowadays is rushing Morello, RoA or Tear. If they're not getting those they're getting the Hextech items. I feel like we need more items like Morello except Morello might need a CDR nerf and add some more items that give Mana and AP.

Every mage is rushing Morello, RoA, Tear, or hex tech items...
What else should they rush then? That seems like a logical start for anyone with lots of variety. You can't come out with a Rabadons, or a zhonyas unless vs zed, or like a Luden's. Mages deal massive damage, but are curtailed by mana. Those items mostly provide mana, or for some, an extra bit of damage to make up for lack of damage.
Maybe I'm not understanding the point here.
