This is really sad. What is being done about this?

Ranked game. Diamond level. We're winning all game.

During a team fight, the enemy Kennen ults into our carry. Our carry backs off and kills blue buff, because it's the only thing in his range. We win the team fight. Jarvan says 'rofl did u really do blue buff in the middle of a fight? so fking bad' This is followed by him saying 'im not carrying you' and he goes AFK at the fountain. Enemy team pushes the 4v5 and wins.

This happens regularly at Diamond. It's been happening regularly at Diamond since season 4 began.

Why hasn't this been addressed? There should be immediate bans handed out for every single instance of this behavior. I'm having trouble understand why this doesn't happen.

both jarvan and your adc is an ass however fk jarvan in particular for being the instigator and then your adc can be reported for afking, no problem

things ARE being done bout afkers/leavers etc... sorta It has temporarily removed people WHO HAVE afked but does not hinder people who MIGHT or MAY afk

a person afked in your game? good chance leaverbuster delivered justice and he/she is temporarily gone feel better now? they got banned, you still lost buddy OH LOOK, an entirely different person comes and afk in your game, nothing the system could have done prior to his afking

Jarvan went AFK, not the ADC. And by AFK I mean he sat at the fountain for 5 minutes, while the enemy team ended. He wasn't actually AFK.

The problem is that there's no punishment for behaving like this in a ranked game, unless they do it constantly.

Idk, I've heard multiple complains/testaments bout people saying Leaverbusters abit too crazy with the banhammer

You have to report them. From what I've seen the system has been more aggresive recently, but it will miss things. Unless you have a human reviewing every game (impossible) people will fall through the system if they don't do it often. If he was willing to do it this time though I don't doubt that he's done similar things in the past.

I've been playing since season 1 began. There has never been harsh punishment on people who behave like this. At Diamond I, I kept seeing the same people who would troll at the drop of a hat for months straight.

Again, the issue here isn't AFKing, it's intentionally losing games/trolling.

The queue is a goddamn mess right now. Pretty much every one of my last like 25 games this week has had someone either never connect in the first place or had someone go afk intentionally at some point in the game. It's a goddamn disgrace.
