What if Thresh's Dark Passage [W] had a circle of light around it that ticked down, showing you how much time was left before the lantern expired? I think it'd be a nice little thing for clarity's sake so your ADC wouldn't have to count out the seconds when you throw out your lantern.
RogueWill2 votesI don't know if traditional skin does (and I'm too lazy to check) but I know Full Moon Thresh does, it has a green timer around the lamp. If traditional skin does not you can sink some cash to get the feature you are looking for. I linked the skin spotlight so you can see it for yourself

meadow1 votesThe Thresh Lantern when thrown, has already a small circle that slowly goes around until it disappears, in which the lantern disappears.
Edit: RogueWill, the standard skin does has the circle too :P Edit 2: Riot also added in a past patch the 'no unit can block lantern' and a small arrow path on the screen, pointing at the lantern from your champion.
