I really like how his power was shifted from the ult towards the voidlings. Although I've played him jungle and he can clear every camp + dragon without his 1st back.... Just saying.

perhaps tone down the passive a bit?? its pretty op and if my memory serves right certain champions really suffered for having CC immunity.

The difference is that Malz doesn't control when he pops his CC immunity, the enemy does.

This is true. Use a soft CC first then bring the hard CC hammer down after about one second. Should do fine.

It doesn't even need to be CC. Just doing damage triggers it.

Well, I saw a video about jungling with Malz before I tried him out and I knew almost immediately that his voidlings were gonna get nerfed and his passive most likely

I main malzahar but I have to admit that since malzahar has a safe lane (that's gonna get even safer with the E refreshing) that he would be pretty much untouchable most of the time and it would seem even less interactive now

Maybe put in a maximum number of voidlings you can spawn per cast vs jungle mobs or something.

Is new Malz better? Having a lot of success with him in ranked currently and I'm not a fan of the changes from what I've read.

Well he's very different now, so the likelyhood of you being to play him the same way you have is very unlikely.

I think the kit overall is an improvement, but I also think it emphasizes an AD jungle playstyle too much...I loved playing Malz as the sustained DoT AP Mage in the mid lane, and I hope Riot still supports that as his stardard build.
