The quality of solo queue has been awful as of late

Literally haven't played a game in the past week without at least one player on the team who has a terrible attitude. People saying they'll guarantee their team's loss because the jungler taxed a wave. People saying the game's over because they got ganked once or twice. People literally running it down mid because they died in lane as a result of their own mistake. Is it just indifference or a lack of mental fortitude? Autofill? Even if the game is EVEN this happens.

Really hard to stay positive, I find myself wanting to argue with my teammates more and more because it's honestly so infuriating to listen to some of the shit that is said. Anyone else feeling this?

This is around d3 mmr btw, i know people in plat who are experiencing the same thing.

Hi Mizaya,

Just a silver scrub here but I'll chime in. My, and the stream's credo (shameful plug) is positivity and perseverance. Sounds tacky right? Works though (at silver elo anyhow). I try to build a comradery in the pre game lobby. Kind of gets people pumped and and our goals aligned. Kind of makes us feel like a group that know each other rather than some other summoners that will be against each other later (in another match).

Sometimes if the team gets a little heated anyway from a mistake or a jungle buff steal or lane tax I type this: Same team, same goal boys. Let's get this win! :D

When people say game is over from early ganks or snowballs I usually type: Lots of game left. We got this! :D

The smiley face is very important. Let's people know I don't think I'm the boss and just trying to get us all to work together. (reminds us all we all queued up to WIN).

To answer the last question. Yes it is lack of mental fortitude and perhaps lack of motivation from the fill spot that can cause less than great efforts on the Rift. But, I think, it is up to all teammates to keep morale up. That's where you come in with the positivity and perseverance. :D

Hope this helps a bit (again silver may be different and just more chill in general).

Stay positive and climb, CBennett1212
