Why Isn't Riot Buffing Riven A Bit More?

With Riven doing fairly poorly ever since the start of season 6, I was curious if anyone had any clue why Riot hasn't been giving her much attention. Having such a simple kit, I understand there isn't much room between too strong and not strong enough, however I feel bruisers and many other champions such as Fiora, Quinn, and Pantheon being so strong in the top lane right now should give them a little more room to look at her. Anyone understands Riot's logic and can give an explanation? Thanks. :)

No one likes to play against a good Riven thats probably why. Plus you have to note if they buff her too much Faker will pick her up and crush everyone lol. Too much mobility on one champion+damage+ Faker is not a good idea.

And if Faker picks Riven, everyone will pick her, including those teammates that do not have a clue on how to play her

She doesn't need buffs. She is pretty balanced and still has that nasty ability to level 1/2 cheese anyone. Buffing her will just make her overpowered. The only reason why she seems to be weak is because the meta does not favor her.

1.) Rivens kit is not simple. 2.) For the past 3 years or so, people complained about Riven bitterly because of how strong she was so the nerf hammer came down. 3.) Riot is now at peace as barely anyone plays Riven now.

That's not true at all, they gave her multiple buffs starting Season 6 including more Health Regen & they more than doubled her Q's scaling.. taking it from 20% bonus AD scaling to 50% bonus AD scaling. Also saying they "nurfed her", at no point was she nurfed. They simply changed how her kit functions. Riven used to have total attack damage scaling on her abilities making her a super bully in the early game, instead of making her an early game power house they instead changed her scaling to bonus attack damage forcing her to require items before she hits any type of spike to bully enemies. Riven currently has had below 50% win rate the entirety of Season 6 and while that doesn't really indicate imbalance it does show that Riven is struggling in the current meta while many of her counterparts who aren't even doing poorly continue to receive many buffs and a plethora of attention from Riot.

Rioters post every now again talking about how they are "looking at Riven to see what's causing her low win rate" which lately has been coming up when there are other buffs like the Duskblade added, or the Assassin mastery etc but none of they really affect Riven's win rate at all it is still trash. Riot keeps teasing buffs but they refuse to do anything meaningful which is super frustrating. Riven is one of the most difficult champions in the game and her win rate always reflected that. The people who played Riven had 125-150 games minimum on her in ranked every season which was in the top 5. But now her player base and win rate keeps dropping cuz Riot isn't doing anything to make her worth playing or learning. Why spend months learning animation canceling when it wont carry you up divisions like it used to when instead you can pick Poppy, Naut, Sion, Malphite etc etc and spend 1 game running around with 4k hp and being unkillable.
