How do you feel about Riven in her current state. Is she fine or not?

Do you think Riven is fine in her current state or do you think she needs changes?

I personally would like to see her buffed so she's used more than just the niche pub stomper but I don't want to see her buffed without some changes to her kit. It's not fair that she's given crappy numbers just to offset her kit.

But that's just my opinion, what's yours?

I think she's a fun, fairly strong champion that's viable to some degree at all levels of play. Not really in pressing need of buffs.

I would have argued that she's not in the greatest spot, but I recently saw a Riven do some heavy lifting. Now I think she's fine.

Riven is an awesome champion with a lot of technique to her abilities. She is by far my favorite top laner just for the sole sake of mechanics needed to play her, and her general mobility while dishing out damage.

Against most melee champions, she is fine; however, I do feel that she needs to be made better against ranged. Ranged isn't suppose to be a counter to melee, at least not all the time. Her ability: Valor aside, she has no real defense against ranged save her last hit on Q. I feel that it is too easy for someone to poke and zone her, since the nature of her kit often requires you to go all in or not at all.

I say a small buff against range, such as more distance in her Q strikes, a MS boost on her E, or perhaps a small invulnerability frame during her Qs while R is up would suffice.

The problem with Riven is that after her "rework" her sustain became non-existant. She has the lowest HP5 in the game, which allows AP casters and assassins to easily bully her out of top lane. Mid lane she works I guess? But unless you have an AP top like Ryze or Rumble, it's kinda pointless.

Riven's pretty great IMO, the only thing I would want to change about her if nothing else would be to make Valor(E) last longer, it's such a good shield but since it doesn't last long enough to be what it should be. besides that I some defense buffs would be nice but all around I don't mind her current state atm.
