Revert Lulu buffs

Why on God's earth did you buff this champ, twice in a row? What was so bad about her before that she needed major buffs in damage, her passive, and slow? And how can you possibly lose laning phase unless your duo is intentionally feeding? It boggles my mind. Bad enough she comes with a ton of early pressure and damage in her kit, on top of that her mana costs may as well make her an energy champ, because she doesn't rely on them at all to harass you from 600+ range. She hardly falls off -- polymorph, aka silence 2.0 lasts a good while, and is very reliable point-and-click cc. She can spam her speed-up to lane (again, almost for free) because her mana regen is ridiculous. Her kit is just, amazing, especially for a support, and I think that in itself for the most part is okay. What isn't okay is the fact that such a strong champion virtually plays itself. In fact it's the first champ I recommend to anyone wanting to learn the support role. Pick that cancerous midget. It's practically freelo. Unless you're utter trash at the game, you can't lose laning phase, at the least. #RiskandReward #whatRisklotofReward

Lol, are you forreal? Lulu was superunderpowered(and still is compared to other supports). She has to get really close to do some damage, so you can punish her heavily. Plus her full combo (AA+E+Q) costs a huge chunk of mana, other supports are able to do that same amount of damage whilst being safer + more mana-effecient. Before these buffs she was never picked in the pro-scene, and barely ever picked by just regular people in ranked(the only people that did pick her, chose her because they just love playing her, not because she's so good). And right now she's only seeing some play in the pro-scene because of Malzahar-support being a thing. If he was to become unviable, Lulu would rarely see play again(only after certain picks&bans).

I'm not saying that these tierlists are always correct, but I find nerfplz to be pretty point on most of the time: http://www.nerfplz.com/2017/02/2017-best-champions-tier-list-solo.html (and before these buffs she was tier3).

This is a L2P issue tbh, maybe you need to learn how to play against her because you never had to before these buffs. Unless they give a nerf to champions like Karma/Janna/Zyra/Brand etc, she's in need of buffs not nerfs. Lulu

LOL is that a fucking joke? Maybe it was a L2P issue back then, because trading was actually a skill. Now, I can walk up almost whenever I want, auto twice and Q, and chunk almost half of their health. No, it barely costs a dime of mana. When was the last time you played her?

Also, that website is awful, and tier lists vary quite a bit. It's not even worth looking at champs from that angle because it's such a brain-dead way of analyzing their strengths. That's like relying on mobafire or solomid for anything more than a general idea of a sensible buildpath.

I see myself as a Lulu-main, I play her alot. Last season she saw like no pro-play in support, I got to plat last season and I can't recall seeing another Lulu player in ranked. This season she is seeing some pro-play, and her winrate rose. But now that Malzahar got nerfed and he's picked less, her winrate is dropping again.

Lulu's base-movementspeed is really low, so no you can't just walk up to someone and do some damage. Supports like Zyra/Brand/Karma or adcs like Draven/Caitlyn/Ezreal will just do more damage back(not to talk about all the all-in/sustain supports). Lulu has the same problem as Sona where she needs to get pretty close to do her job, and can get caught out really easily. Generally she's bad/mediocre versus other mage supports whom have more damage or sustain, I find she has alot more succes versus tanky-champions like Thresh/Alistar/Braum who she can just poke alot(and tank-supports are not meta).

I really think it's a L2P-matter on your part, Lulu shouldn't be able to just auto twice and Q to get the thunderlord off. If playing against someone of equal skill, she should only be able to proc it using AA+E+Q. She has to get close to get the AA+E off, and leaves her shield on cd, that combined with the fact that she's squishy and has a low base-movementspeed means you can hurt her alot. Maybe you're just playing the wrong support against her.

News flash, yes, she can proc thunderlords that easily. I literally tried it myself some time ago. Laning phase was stupid easy: an occasional auto from bush, Q, 1/4 of their health. At least I can sit behind minions against Karma, Blitz, Braum, etc. There's nothing you can do but give up cs or take the dmg if Lulu's timing her harass correctly, watching ally creep health. At that point it's up to their support to do something about it, which 8/10 times they won't, or they'll pop a Janna shield out of instinct rather than reaction, something dumb like that. This is also in plat MMR. I cannot reiterate it enough, the champ got a bit of an overhaul. Just because something isn't picked in pro play doesn't mean the champ itself isn't viable. Actually it's usually the same top 3 champs in every lane, you can't tell me every other champ is dogshit, at least in solo queue.

I'm not sure you should be proud to call yourself a Lulu main with those stats. If anything, it's a L2P issue on your end. I don't know why you're building straight up defensive items and maxing E but taking thunderlords. Your spells don't cost much and you start the game off with like what, 2.8 or 3 mana regen per second? If you're not going against Soraka or Janna, the lane shouldn't be that difficult. Your auto range is good and you can harass freely for days. If the ADC responds, okay, pop shield, free trade. You still end up retaining most of your mana. My weakness with her lies in teamfights, so it's not my go-to pick. But if I'm playing with a solid early-game carry like Lucian, Draven, Jhin, or some lockdown like Cait or Jinx, it's probably freelo lol.

It's easy to do a full combo and proc thunderlords once both parties are willing to trade, so If I go in for an AA and you think 'Hey, im gonna hurt ya back!' then yes, I can just follow up that AA with an E-Q and proc it. But that's a mistake on your part. Also, you can also just hide behind minions vs Lulu, her Q does reduced damage and her passive gets blocked by your creeps. She still does some damage, but you/yoursupport should be able to do atleast the same amount of damage back to her.

And why criticise me on how I play Lulu when you don't even know how to play VS her(let alone as her). It's common for Lulu-players to put about 3 early points into E as it has a really good early-scaling. You could also put early points into Q, where you'd do more & take more damage, both routes are viable but you should always max W first. Also there's nothing wrong with the items I build, enchanter-supports in general should be building items like Redemption/Locket/ArdentCenser. Are you really suggesting I follow the same build as a Zyra/Brand on Lulu? That's just stupid.

Maybe the champions you/your support play are just generally bad VS Lulu, if you play weak earlygame ADCs with a support like Braum/Janna I can see why you're having a bad time and THINK she's OP.

If you're going to throw your 'main' status out there, yeah, I'm going to look at it and take it with a serious grain of salt if the stats aren't very good lol. No, I did not say to build the same items on Lulu as Zyra or Brand. I'm suggesting you take the more sensible keystone based off the build I saw you make every game, which makes more sense based off the shield you're maxing. Going for a hybrid mix between poke/defense isn't very good; hence why people max spells, not randomly take points into different abilities. Give it a try.

There was a period where I'd use the Windspeaker's keystone, but you lose alot of early power doing that. It's better late-game, but in the current meta games don't last that long. So it's kinda a personal preference, though Thunderlord's is the most popular pick.

I never max shield first, I only put some early points into it to get through the laning phase. Leveling your Q first does provide with more damage, but you'd also take more damage. My current playstyle is shielding myself and then bullying the enemy with auto-attacks.

I guess I could try different things out, but my current build is pretty onpar what with most pro's are building. http://www.probuilds.net/champions/details/Lulu
