For a too short time (shorter than zhonya) it seems, Fiora locks on you and follows you after you blink. There are some wierd (but probably intended) mechanics in Fiora ultimate such as the ability to interrupt it with well timed displacements.

it's probablly that his blink unlocks targeting but not contually refreshed things, since it's duration is shorter than the "continuous checker" ticks. I'm bad at wording it but it's the same reason why soraka can't stop panth from hop-stunning when he ults in, even by silencing the landing zone in advance.
