Simply remove the rooting part of her trap and it makes things more fair or make it so you can kill them like vision wards. No fun in trying to avoid traps in the middle of the lane especially when she's fed.

Surprisingly she's not picked as much as she should be and I think it's because she's more of a safer played adc with all that range and her kit encourages getting away from your target.

As for her traps it's just a bad joke. Having 3-4 in lane at mid game, while trying to avoid the support and the adc while getting zoned and having to avoid traps, come on.

If you had a bear trap clamped down on your leg, you wouldn't be able to move at all. The root signifies that.
Nidalee's traps don't CC people at all already and are pretty worthless because of it. Having Cait's traps be the same would be retarded (don't forget that Cait's traps don't even deal damage anymore)
Her traps would also be worthless if you could destroy them so easily.

What Riot needs to do is adjust how her traps operate with duration.

Have the traps last the longest in bushes
Have the traps last the shortest under tower range
Have the traps last in the middle elsewhere If Riot did this one change, then her traps would be way more balanced.
