Problem with Tahm Kench

I noticed something with Tahm Kench stun. If the cd on his q is low enough and he has 3 stacks of his passive on an enemy he can keep stunning the enemy because his passive stacks stay on the enemy long enough for him to do this. This is a problem just because of the main fact that he can just keep stunning the enemy. My solution is to either make the 3 stacks fall off of the enemy after he uses his q or w on them or make the stacks fall off faster. This way he won't be too OP with stuns and carying an enemy around constantly. The link is to a moment in Sp4zie's champion preview video of him doing what I explained.

  1. it's a skillshot and can be dodged/bodyblocked
  2. he needs to apply those 3 stacks first, which for a low as melee with no mobillity is quite hard to do, he deservs a good revard
  3. it's 3.6 sec cd with max cdr, the stun lasts 1.5sec, not even a 50% uptime, no reason to be massively worried(Brand and TF have the same cd on 2 sec stun)

Still but he can stun that enemy and walk up to them and devour them right as the stun runs out and then carry them back to his team.

yep, thats his intendet combo, and since devouring takes away the stacks, thats all he does. keep in mind that he needs to apply those stacks first, and his tools to do so are rather limited.

And? Hes melee, essentially.

You are severely overestimating his mobility while his tummy is full. Its a 95% slow - your team would have to come into position rather than you delivering.

Whats more, Tom has two damaging abilities; One which is a linear, blockable skill shot and another which deals potentially massive damage but requires set up. The difficulty of getting those 3 stacks makes up for the potential permanant stun... And by the way, if he stuns, he doesnt slow.

Honestly you should only be worried if a tom gets rage. any champion with some kind of mobility is just going to not get W'd.

Also... item 3027 item 3116 item 3083 item 3025 item 3089 /item 3157 item 3158

:3 Warmogs synergizes stupidly well with tom; although it can be replaced with spirit visage if you need magic resist more than raw HP. Build gives you 25% CDR, 4000+HP, and 300+ or so AP.

Actually, based on the way it is worded and the PBE footage I've been watching, the stun takes up a portion of the slow duration, so if he stuns you for 1.5 seconds, it'll slow you for the remaining .5 seconds once the stun ends.

Ive played him. It might do both, but to be honest its not long enough to be worthwhile.
