Why does Duskblade disable traps
a huge chunk of bonus true damage, 60 AD and lethality wasn't enough for this item to be good? it gets a free automatic sweeper too?
why
get their time-consuming setup disabled cuz some fuckass bought duskblade?

For balance reasons
Because their stealth traps are busted. There is no indication or warning of any kind. 1 teemo shroom can remove 15-20% of a squishy champion's health bar as a minimum mid to late game, so fun to play against.
they're also countered for free by sweeps and scrying plants, and for 75g by a control ward
if traps were obvious they wouldn't be traps
Red Sweeper and Control Wards only work if you have a general idea where they are placed. I miss the day of Oracles Elixir giving some form of fair play vs those traps. You could see them, but if you're dumb enough to walk into them you set them off, just like the one in Howling Abyss.
common sense will tell you where they're most likely to lay traps. choke points in the jungle and around objectives almost always have traps set in advance
