Why isn't refusing to communicate punished?
When I get someone in chat typing in chinese that refuses to communicate in champion select I pretty much know that person will end up costing us the game. I'm not being Anglocentric or anything, but it just doesn't make sense to me why they use NA servers. I have to assume that because they can't even communicate basic words like heal and exhaust or roles such as jungle, that they are playing from another country or something. They end up feeding and show all the symptoms of someone playing with awful ping.
I recently had a Malphite take heal and flash when the only role left was support. I prayed that he was just making a bad summoner spell decision and that he was still support, so I took exhaust instead of heal as the ADC. 2 minutes into the game he's standing still in the middle of the lane getting massacred. He pops heal on himself which I don't benefit from because he's alone and recalls at around 2:20, comes back to lane, and gives first blood and I die because I didn't have the safety net of heal. I look at his match history and he's got like a 35% winrate and does the same thing every game.
Again, I understand the "meta" isn't enforceable, so if someone took Riven ADC and called it I wouldn't report them so long as they don't rage or troll after making that poor decision. However, when someone locks in Riven with flash heal and their 4 teammates are asking them if they're top and they don't answer, that's not okay. It results in someone taking an ADC and being forced to top because Riven won't communicate or leave bot lane, or someone assumes the Lulu with exhaust was support when she ends up going top and is forced to support as Yasuo.
If you refuse to communicate you should only be using team builder of blind pick, you absolutely should not be allowed in ranked to ruin everyone's promotions and be seen as a troll.
