At least buff Gangplank's goldflow on Parrrley on 4.14

If he is going to keep being ignored on an actual rework then at least buff his non-toxic ways. There is no reason for Gangplank to have to be forced to either go straight on-hit and be squishy or be super tanky yet offer no form of damage after the laning phase. Increase Gangplank's farming so that he can at least hit his "late-game" so he can contest with other strong top laners such as Gragas, Irelia, Riven, Jax, Nidalee, Vlad, and more who achieve their strongest point with one item(RoA, TF, Botrk, Zhonyas). Gangplank has to get at least a Statikk Shiv, Trinity Force, and a giant's belt just to match their survivability and damage. It can be seen that Gangplank has to buy a lot of heavy gold items just to be relevant... So match his farm scaling with other champions scaling.

+Increase his current gold upon killing a unit by 2 at all ranks +Reduce his Parrrley cooldown by half when he kills a unit +Mana is no longer lost when a minion/creep dies before being hit by Parrrley

This can all be done within the time of the 4.14 patch before worlds. However, I'm afraid this will be ignored again by not only fellow Rioters but also people who see this. Remember lurkers, **YOU **have the power to make this been seen and heard. Why not do people who care about Gangplank a favor and make this been seen by a fellow Rioter?

Give his Parrrley a stacking buff while out of battle that increases the gold from his next killing blow with it in addition to the flat amount - (ex. +1/2/3/4/5 stack(s) every 5 seconds you remain out of battle. Grants 1g per stack, maximum 5 stacks). This would increase his viability as a support, but only barely affect him in other roles. *[basically synergizes with Relic Shield] (or, also award him the stacks when he hits a champion with it, and will allow it to work with Ancient Coin/Spellthief's Edge) * Not that he's a great support, but he sure is a fun one and after all, his secondary role is listed as support :3

And no, I didn't do the math to see if these numbers are far too much or too little for a support to have. Putting in Xg Y stacks doesn't get the message across as well.

I think this idea could be interesting if tweaked slightly. I'm an unranked scrub so I know absolutely nothing about the game meta and all that fun stuff, but I can throw out my ideas if anyone's willing to listen.

For your idea, I like the sound of it, but maybe have his E add a stack to it on use rather than having it build up outside of combat. The build-up is good when you're running back to lane, but when you're farming, you'll be sitting around for five seconds waiting to get a new stack, at least that's what I'd be doing if I saw that kind of passive. Adding it to E also reinforces his Support role, as I believe support Gangplanks take E first, although it would be promoting getting last hits and as a support that's kind of a bad idea. It seems like a good idea to me, anyway. Thoughts?

I don't know what a Diamond 1 Support GP would actually level first, but I put my first point in Q so I can last hit for Relic Shield (extremely easy, Parrrley counts as a melee) and to poke/slow. Relic Shield/Targon's Brace/Face of the Mountain is the gold/support item that shares CS and a heal with a nearby ally, if you didn't know. That's why last hitting with Parrrley isn't bad, as long as you wait for the charges on Relic Shield to share the CS.

W is the heal, I think you meant E (the AoE speed/ad buff). I don't think Raise Morale(E) has any use at level 1. It's not like you spam E or W, though. You only use them when the right situation arises so would be a waste of mana to use on CD to add stacks of something.

Ahh, that is true, didn't even think about that. My unranked is showing :P

Nah, for some reason it took me a while to discover Relic Shield and I only used the other two gold items XD

I play Gangplank relatively often in matches and find his survivability to damage ratio to be fairly even. Granted he could use a buff to 1 or 2 of his abilities, (IMO) like his ult being a bit stronger later game, or as stated above parrrley being more effective. With the right defense and offense items he can easliy stand up there with a few of the champs above, typically i use item 3110 item 3074 item 3172 item 3065 item 3284 item 3031 (not the actualy order i get them in!), though expesnive these items can be reliably built with a strong teamate and reasonable player skill, and allow Gangplank to keep up with his enemies fairly well, he may not deal a blinding amount of damage but this build serves as a type of war of attrition that usually favors Gangplank

Yes, that build could work like any other build but the most effective for Gangplank at the moment is the On-hit build which is item 3158 item 3078 item 3087 item 3031 item 3143 item 3065 . It has a strong but half of the times lackluster mid-game with a decent late-game that won't leave you blown up in fights half of the times and offers good poke. That said, even with the current itemization, Gangplank still underperforms compared to champions who could use some of the same items and come out on top.
