Death's Dance may need some lovings:
High tier items, especially over 3k+ gold, typically need to be gold efficient. Death's Dance is not only shy of 600 gold inefficient, but since it is a high tier item this efficiency doubles to just shy of 1200 gold, no other item is even close to inefficiency on this margin.
I will recommend an IDEA that has Death's Dance, well, playing around death, at least about to:
Death's Dance: Recipe: Vampiric Scepter (900g) + Pickaxe (875g) + Caulfield's Warhammer (1100g) + 525g = 3400g
Statistics: +65 Attack Damage +10% Cooldown Reduction +UNIQUE Passive: 15% of your physical damage dealt heals yourself, one-third for multi-target spells. [up from 12%, matches Hextech Gunblade's value] +UNIQUE Passive: 10% of the damage taken is applied as a bleed effect over 3 seconds instead. [down from 12%] +UNIQUE Passive: When you are below 35% health your basic attacks deal 8% of your target's missing health as bonus physical damage on-hit. [new]
So this has the idea of when you are low on health you deal bonus damage creating a high risk and high reward scenario so you either kill your target or be killed when playing on the brinks of death. Also 12% for the heal value just seems super lack luster since it is barely an upgrade over Vampiric Scepter, to off set it you just decrease the bleed's awkward damage reduction mechanic slightly.
