Ranked and normal are both unplayable right now. Something needs to change.

Normal matchmaking is a complete clusterfuck. Most games are completely one sided, with teams like 5x Diamond pre-made vs. random Gold and Platinum players with a Silver thrown in because why the fuck not.

Ranked games are also a complete clusterfuck. It's half people trying their hardest, and half people trying out new champions, which is basically a guaranteed loss at Diamond.

Neither of these game modes are fun or remotely playable. Every single game is a one sided stomp that's over within 5 minutes. Something needs to be changed, because literally none of my queues will get me a decent game right now.

I feel bad for ya, but it's preseason now, so that happens. But remember that players do have an MMR (Match-maker rating) which decides teams, so it should be balanced. But that being said, it's really because we are in preseason. It will get better when season starts. For now, just play Normals and have fun.

Normal matchmaking is completely busted. It very likely does not use MMR if it can't make a game start within 30 seconds, as is evidenced by this 5-man Diamond premade against me and four random low ranked players.
