"I'm not used to Aurelion Sol Yet"...

then how about you quit delaying the inevitable and stop banning him? It takes like, one day tops for you to become somewhat familiar with how a champion is played. The sooner you get it over with, the better.

Let's face it, the majority of people who ban new champions are the same people who ban newly reworked champions like Shen not long ago; they just want to irritate people and newer champions are just easy targets.

Even if I don't get Sol, because odds are my teammates would get it before I'd get the chance, I would rather be able to face one on the enemy team than have him be banned because someone is too lazy to wait for an internet guide telling them how to counter him

People ban new champions because they don't want people on their team feeding with them. Nothing to do with trolling.

Are we talking ranked or norms here? If ranked, ban him cause you don't need inexperienced players messing with your ranked games (not to mention even if this player was good with Aurelion, the rest of your team wouldn't know how to synergize with him).

If its norms, anything goes.

He's kinda obvious with his skillset too. Don't let the obvious spinning stars hit you. Sometimes they are farther away too. Don't stand in front of him.

ASol's biggest weakness is his ability to get cc'd and all-in dives on his face. Either stay outside where his W stars would orbit or dive onto his face. ASol will probably be dealt with best just strapping him down with cc and sitting on his face.

I 5 man q for the first two weeks of a champ release so the enemy gets the first time aurelion sol feeder and not us.

I think that any new champion should be disabled in any ranked queue for at least 3 days. Why is that? Most people don't play on pbe, but they think that "watching a gamelplay" is enough to understand exactly how to handle the champ. I'm not against playing a new champ, what I'm against is paying a champion you don't know how to play (and a lot of times peole don't even know what the champs spell do or what they should max first) in a ranked game, especially an hard champion like Sol since his kit might sound easy, but it's actually pretty hard to control his passive and w. You can ruin the game for your allies, maybe they're in the last promo game and since you played sol for the very first time in that ranked you lost the promo of someone in your team. Normals and Normal Drafts are there to learn champions and to have fun, ranked are there to show you actual skill and climb the ladder, not to learn something. So instead of asking people to stop banning him, we should ask riot to disable the new champs for some days after release only in ranked games, this way people can learn the champ before playing him in ranked and if they do poorly and say "I just bought him" you can report them, and hopefully get them ranked-restricted for at least a week since they deserve it for playing something they don't know how to play in ranked, because they had the chance to play him in normals for 2-3 days and didn't do that waiting on purpose that he would be enabled in ranked, this shit about idiots who bring first time champions into rankeds had to end, I can excuse a little people who bring champions with mechanichs similiar to other champs they have mastered (maybe because theyr champ is banned and the second choice got taken), but just bringing a complex champ you are playing literally for the first time in a ranked game is inexcusable.

Also internet guides can't help that much, they can give you tips sure but that's all, they can't give you the experience you need to actually do what's written in the guide.
