[Suggestion] What if your teammates can toggle if they want to be affected by Bards ultimate?

We know that we all hate being crowd controlled by allied CC and you cant always trust the guy you dont know to do the right thing, but how can we solve this?

My suggestion is that you can toggle lets say like how you can toggle DJ sonas song and the guy playing bard can get a notification in chat that X player can be affected by your ult.

By making it a toggle players that dont want to be zhonyas wont be zhonyad and this shifts the responsibility of potential bad ults away from bards to his team mates who either signed yay or nay.

Also players who play bard for toxic reasons gain less power to ruin said games.

Ya, let's be also able to toggle;

  • being Oathsworn to Kalista
  • walking through friendly Anvia wall
  • walking through Trundle pillar
  • proximity aggro to monsters an ally hit
  • enemies being able to get to you through Bard tunnel
  • anybody with a knockback/pull either saving an enemy, or bringing them close enough to kill you

or we could toggle;

  • bad attitude
  • blaming players ruining non-troll mechanics because they used it improperly

im pretty sure if id join a game now the entire team would togle my ult of... simly cause why would they trust me resulting in no one picks bard

also if you ult me and enemy team yet i togled no this would mean i can now reposition wich is not what its ment for else hed just get a massive stun

While it would be nice not to be killed by your teammates, this would make Bard's ult alot stronger. Imagine if there are 3 enemies and allies in a small area and Bard ults it. With your changes this is now a 5 v 2 if they choose not to be ulted, without them this is a 2 v 2 for 2.5 seconds.

I know this might become perhaps an issue, but the way things are now as people playing bard you are to afraid of making plays because the potential to screw up is so high.

Bards ult is perhaps the most strongest ult in the game, but currently he is to risky and the guy playing bard becomes a blame magnet straightaway.

I think this would honestly create toxicity too. If Bard does a lifesaving ult for his team and the guy who chooses to be unaffected by it is the one guy who ends up dying a gruesome death, or Bard generally tries to Zhonya you to save you and you end up ignoring it, the whole team will start attacking you for not opting in.

Eh, I don't see that many openly toxic bards. If it is an issue, maybe, but the report system should filter that kind of player out anyway. (Key word, should. I don't know how effective it really is.)

Not a great idea. It makes getting much stronger Bard ults much easier. If someone goes on my ADC and they choose to be immune to my ult, I can easily peel them off by just ulting my ADC. The ADC gets 2.5 seconds to walk away from the guy in stasis. It just makes the entire "affects allies" part of his ult pointless, because it will always be turned off. Fuck that. It's an interesting part of the skill, and it should stay just the way it is.

I don't see any Bards really trolling with their ult, unless they are also doing shit like intentionally feeding. It's just not a real concern for me.
