@Riot @whoever works on champ select.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back auto lock from the old champ select. it may not seem like a big deal, "just press the damn lock in button", but the majority of dodges that happen in champ select are not on purpose. people are deciding which champ to pick and simply forget to lock it in or they stepped out for 5 secs to go to the bathroom or they are alt tabbed, etc etc.

just bring auto lock in back and this will fix alot of whats frustrating about champ select.

(for those that dont know, auto lock in is when your champ is automatically locked in for you as long as you are hovering over a champ)

Really hope they don't. Already seeing a decrease in the number of tools that hover every champion they own, while alternating Teemo in between each one, then finally locking in.

current champ select wont stop people like that..... and auto lock is like a .3 sec difference

Did you miss the part where I said I'm already seeing a decrease? As in current champ select is, in fact, stopping people like that. Or they do it, mess it up, get dodged, then I laugh because they lost some lp for being a tool. Either was is good for me.

i havent noticed it. i still see people hover over teemo till last second then lock in something else. furthermore, people who do that are rare to begin with. it was NEVER frequent even in old solo que. so i dont get why this is an issue for you at all?

"rare" is the mislabeling of the century lol. And it was literally every game in old queue. But it's an issue for me the same way taking .0001 seconds to hit "lock in" is an issue for you. It's an annoyance.

Honestly, I had a few cases(about 3 or 4) of lock-in button simply not doing a damn thing.

Like... hit lock, for 3 seconds nothing happens, then I'm able to hit lock again, again nothing. Then I'm kicked out of the lobby, because 10 seconds of constant clicking "lock" wasn't enough.

Considering the number of my ranked games played in Dynamic Queue Ranked, that's 10% of all my games, which is pretty damn significant.
