Just leaving this out here...

Sylas potential max heal: 300+100% AP Soraka max potential heal with W: 220+60%AP Soraka max potential heal with R: 350+55% AP So Sylas heals himself more than a max level Soraka who uses HER HEALTH to heal OTHER people just to balance it(who is still nerfed whenever she becomes slightly overbearing BECAUSE OF THIS). Why is this a thing? Even worse Sylas builds more AP than a Soraka ever will, meaning he gets even more healing out of it.

Nerf the heal, give it BONUS HP scaling instead of AP, or SOMETHING so that it isn't so friggin busted please. I mean you did want to make him a bruiser, but at this point he's like an assassin with more resistances. Or you could give us 2 bans each, I think you have enough characters to do that at this point.

It's also be nice if he actually had to land something to use it, I mean...it's point and click.

Wow it's almost like Soraka can do it from Range, has her Ult AND W, doesn't require to be in melee range, has access to items that boost her healing, can heal anyone who isn't herself with W, can heal literally everyone on her team with R, and is overall, still a better healer than a melee mage's single self-sustain ability since he no longer has his shield.

This comparison is stupid. This is like comparing why Neeko's ult does so much more damage than Amumu's ult. It's almost like they're two completely different champions with different strengths, like the fact that Sylas's heal can't heal others.

Sylas can't heal his team mates. Sylas's heal doesn't have a 1.2 second CD late game.

and which one requires you to be in melee range of enemy champions?

You know when you break champions down into just numbers, they all sound broken right?

Just gonna drop some numbers, on a sixty second cooldown, there is a champion with a point and click nuke that does healing for a percentage of the target's maximum health, dealing the same amount as Magic damage magic damage and stealing Armor icon 40% of their armor and Magic resistance icon magic resistance, so not only do they take your defenses to actually fight them back, they are constantly healing from me, how is that fair?

Oh wait...that's trundle.

"why is this MELEE champion healing more than my safety peeling SUPPORT champion?"

Sylas potential max heal: 300+100% AP, has 7 sec cd at max rank and requires enemy champion in melee range and <40% hp Soraka max potential guaranteed heal with W: 220+60%AP, has 2 sec cd at max rank and requires nothing. Soraka ACTUALLY MAX heal with W: 300+90% AP, has 2 sec cd at max rank, no health cost and requires hitting a Q on enemy champion

It's also be nice if he actually had to land something to use it, I mean...it's point and click.

Just like ADC autoattacks. And they can heal too.

Melee champions have stronger kits than ranged ones. This is already a well accepted and established fact.

But how, they did such an amzaing job with "fixing" Soraka:

Soraka, Support

  • 47.48% WR
  • 45.65% in DIa+ [ u-gg ]

So competent :o)

Even though these things are not really comparable, Sylas heal has already been a problem, do you not remember release Sylas that healed potentally 400 HP when using his W (which he'd max) at level 9 when below 40% HP. When at level 9, his own base HP is like 1300? ... wait, that sounds like this Sylas. How strange. :P

You know how much Maokai, the tank, heals at level 9? 9% of his HP, his 1200 base HP. Maokai needs near 3500 HP and level 15 to heal 400 HP.

They just need to buff the Heal and Shield potency of item 3114 builds so that healers can get high potent heals without the AP damage nukes. I think you're right. Healers just don't shine compared to the heals you see champs like Sylas or Vlad pulling off because the AP scaling leaves supports in the dust.
