if you had at least 1 tentacle nearby and they both tried to fight you in melee with your ult running, this would make 3 tentacles slapping 2 champions. so 6 separate 5% missing health heals.
they should have taken that into account, move back and flank you, and reengage when your ult has run out.
i just played an aram, and the entire enemy team clustered up around me and tried to fight me in melee. including the supports and the adc. i had already 3 tentacles around and my ult available.
you can imagine the following slaughter.
