This season's balance in a nutshell

FantasySniper··10 votes·559 views
  1. Multiple champions that are supposed to focus on damage have actually built tank and seen more success.
  2. The champions that most use Guinsoo's Rageblade have all been nerfed since it was introduced. Except for Irelia. Guinsoo's still hasn't been nerfed.
  3. More than one-third of all the player base uses Thunderlord's Decree.
  4. Towers provide less defensive power than ever. Zz'Rot Portal actually defends your lane better than a tower.
  5. Games feel entirely one-sided to the point where "open mid" can be considered common.

I hate how true #4 is. I see zz'rot built so much it hurts. A niche item built around a certain strategy is used just to push a wave/counterpush so you can do fuck all elsewhere. I even remember a match where the enemy Malphite I laned with didn't even bother to hide where he placed his, it was seriously in the middle of the lane...

Do you seriously have a problem with champions abusing the living shit out of items?

I die too fast to care.

item 3124 + anything with AS steroid is fucking cancer and whatever moron has agreed to make it live should facepalm with iron gloves with nails sticking out. At least a fuckton of times for a good measure.

Btw, in ALL of my ascensions game whenever there was Yi, Xin, Kog, Irelia they always rushed rageblade. Balanced as fk.

When a select few champions end up getting tweaked because some new mechanic was added, ok.

But when a group of champions, who are the only ones that use it, get repeatedly nerfed and the same mechanic that broke them remains untouched... It's the entire reason they changed Lich Bane what seems like forever ago.

Why would you want to fix main problem anyways?

It's much funnier overnerfing champions to the point where their whole be or not to be depends on problematic item.

Once Riot finally notices and nerfs guinsoo for being OverPowered piece of garbage we'll see new set of Warwicked champions, it's gonna be fun!

Warwick was OP before he abused Sabre. It's much more accurate to refer to Sejuani in that type of situation. She got an item she really needed, but ended up getting nerfed because of it, and then when they finally nerfed Cinderhulk she was worse off than other champions who used it.

WW was strong before devourer. And with it it was retarded OP, I know..

Then Riot took his kit and cut in half what he had. Because of that most of WWs now buy alot more defenses to soak up damage and act like second tank than a bruiser. They simply don't have enough power in their kits to go for slightly more versatile combinations. Then as we all know devourer has been changed, WW became meatshield.

I knew about Sejuani, but I decided to use WW as a way of telling "i still remember what Riot did to WW".

P.S. Ofc i'm sarcastic.

Sej got nerfed becasue she was banned by 90% or ranked players. Cinderhulk got nerfed afterwards because Gragas just took her spot at the best abuser of the item.

Warwick was 100% pick/ban when Sabre came out. He wasn't the only one abusing it, either. Again, when there's a whole group of champions "abusing" an item, it's not the champions, it's the item.

A problem is the need for lifesteal items whether fighter adc, or even mage. Lifesteal items are so overpowered on some champions but essential on others. A simple solution would be simply making less burst damage champions so instead of spraying damage you can focus a ton of damage on killing lifesteal champions quickly. ( it isn't a big problem though, not the most essential thing to focus on )
