Crit needs to be changed, this preseason needs to be when
Crit percentages are nonsense, which nobody denies. I shouldn't be giving first blood because my enemy laner has 3% crit which just so happened to work out in their favor with a random crit. It isn't predictable, there is no counter play, and it has nothing to do with skill. Crit creates a blind luck scenario which ruins the feel of a game that should be all about tactical decision making.
Here is how you can change crit to make it fair. Make crit an actual percentage of attacks used rather than each attack having a percentage to crit. So when you have a 25% crit chance, you don't SOMETIMES crit 1/4 of the time, you crit every 4 attacks, bottom line. You can now predict it, and expect it. 10% crit would be critical hitting every 10 attacks, 20% every 5 attacks, and so forth. If you can count, you can use this mechanic intelligently rather than hoping for that lucky crit (or not).
If you know your opponent is going to crit a certain number of attacks made for sure, you can tactically decide to engage or not based off of an intelligent decision instead of relying on blind luck.
**Since crit is becoming even larger in scope this preseason, its randomness needs addressing as well. ** Even if you don't agree with my change, you can agree with that.
