She has TOP NOTCH statistics for a supposedly hard champion. a near 52% win rate with a disgusting 10+% pick rate to boot, putting her at the second most picked top laner in high elo.

She builds full AD, gets a shield the size of a moon that's spammable, and becomes basically unduelable after cleaver deaths dance and tabi/mercs.

Like fiora, she has a very strong lane phase against many champions while also scaling quite well for herself.

but the thing is with fiora she takes almost no skill to play well while u have to actually be a good riven to do decently

That is not a good way to look at balance. Just because a champion is hard does not give it a right to be broken.

Her stats are below average. Anyone who does not know how to play her will get out DPS'ed easily. What you are asking for is for Riven to have to be M7 to keep up with any M5 top laner.

Anything short of that and the Riven auto loses.

That wouldn't explain her astronomical play rate.

Seems people are picking up riven quite well. And in Platinum+ champions aren't too hard to pick up. Perhaps a month at most and you'll know all the ins and outs of a champion.

Riven is overpowered.

Lol what? Fiora has a pretty big curve. If you're dying to a Fiora who is not dancing around hitting vitals then you need help.

There's a massive difference between a great n just a ok Fiora.

Riven has one of the most dedicated and experienced playerbases in the game and I would be concerned if her winrate were any lower than this.

Bullshit, no amount of dedication can lead to a pick rate that high.

She's not as hard to pick up on as people think because right now she's overtuned and can excel even with more mediocre players taking her in ranked.
