Seriously, adcs should not be able to 1v1 assassins just by right clicking with their lifesteal, taking the assassin down in 4 hits while the assassin struggles to deal 70% of the adcs health because the adc has 
, that is assuming the assassin is able to stick to the adc. Don't even get me started on what adcs can do to fighters and tanks, whose damage gets outhealed by lifesteal.

SEKAI1 votesThough to be fair, adcs are supposed to counter tanks and bruisers in late game in the first place due to their drain-tanking (but still, they were never meant to just 3 shot tanks even in late game. They do that these days. Unless the tank in question is made for sustain then that's a bit different).
However adcs were never really meant to survive assassinations unless they build defence and/or gets peeled.

it is pointless to play AP Assassins or Mages when ADCs can not only burst squishies better but also not get completely countered by tanks or fighters, have top tier DpS and sustain, dont fall off late game and have better pokes / utility than AP Assassins and Mages too.
ADCs with better burst and utility than Mages.
ADCs with better AoE burst than Mages.
ADCs that are better than any AP Assassin.
ADCs with better burst and poke than Mages.
is just an abomination.
and all of them can build this BS combo .
what used to be considered a big mistake in the past by going full AD team ( never really was a mistake with how powerful old Last Whisper and old Penetration was but the thing is Mages used to have more agency than what they have now with higher overall AP + DFG ) is now the better choice for wining games.

i build this shit on every ad champ i play.
ADC, Assassin, Tank, Fighter .... everything.
Potential 42% damage reduction ( 54% against autos ) is just too good to pass up.
The best part ? ... top tier damage + utility.
