Is Anivia ever going to get a nerf bat? or is she going to keep dodging them matrix style?

After she hits 6, laning with her is well, not laning with her. She Rs the wave for about 2-3 seconds, has it push to your tower, and walks away looking for a pick, and does this constantly while safely farming and knowing she needs a lot to die because of her egg passive.

Then she hits her mid/late game spikes in team fights, her utility is unmatched, being able to wall people in or out of the fight when she wants, and having perma slow with her R is annoying as hell.

Not to mention that she also has the ability to one shot squishies fairly easy with her E, or at least chunk 75% of there health with it.

I just think she has a bit to much of everything, and needs a bit of a nerf.

You realize mid is mostly wave clear vs wave clear

Lol yeah, to you people that don't play aggressive and just like to farm and don't make leads for your self, waiting for the jungle to help you or the team to set things up for you, passive mid lanes are worthless.

Not really.

If you are a mid/late-game champion, passively farming out the lane phase (between roaming/skirmishing as necessary) can be a viable strategy. This is especially true against early-game bullies.

If your strength lies in teamfighting/sieging, you want to reach that stage without falling behind. There isn't any point trying to 1v1 the enemy assassin/duelist early if that is where they hold the advantage.

All you have to do is prevent them from snowballing while you outscale them.

While passive play doesn't really work if you are playing a snowball-reliant champion (i.e. Pantheon, Riven, Zed, Fizz, Leblanc), it does if you are a mid/late-game teamfighting powerhouse.

Apparently the 0/10 brand with ignite i had didn't knew that, and he kept 1v1 ing the enemy mid laner, but he called me a noob for not ganking so i guess he was right.

All mages have the option to farm or play aggressively. Anivia can play aggressively or she can waveclear like any other mage. She did need nerfs in the past because when she hit 6 she could just R E but they nerfed that. I think Anivia is in a good spot. She feels like the only DPS mage that really controls an area and can pressure tanks, the best one at doing that job.

Every mage does that...why aren't you complaining about Velkoz Ziggs Viktor Taliyah, the difference between them and Anivia is that her strong wave clear is in her ultimate, so her wave clear pre level 6 is actually really bad. Not to mention that the mana cost it takes for her to do what the other wave clear mages does is huge. Vel'koz can Q + W and kill most of the wave if not all of it, for probably around 100-120 mana combined. Ziggs is around the same thing for Q + W but Viktor only needs his E once he gets his upgraded item and thats like 100 mana. If you are saying it takes Anivia 2-3 seconds to clear it (which the other mages I mentioned can do it quicker) that would cost her 75 mana to activate her ult and then 40/50/60 per second. So it'll cost her 155/175/195 mana and that is just 2 seconds and that's why she is forced into double stacking mana items.

As far as utility, they just recently nerfed her there this patch with her wall not granting vision around it which is going to hurt her pretty badly as it is. I'm also kind of tired of people complaining about Anivia's E. If they lowered her E's damage then her damage would basically be really weak and she would not be a threat at all...if they nerfed her E then she would be forced out of mid lane and into the support role, and do you guys really want that?

Also speaking of her E...It's not like she is the only champion to have a strong target spell nuke in their kit. Hell just look at Viktor's Q, that has even less counter play to it and does about as much damage.

Anivia's E: 150 + 50% AP (Empowered to 300 + 100% AP) 90 Mana, 4 second CD requires the use of Q or max duration R and is nothing but damage. Doesn't really synergies with any items and only Thunderlords. Range 650, 1600 speed

Viktor's Q: Both hits: 240 + 100% AD + 90% AP. 65 Mana, 4 Second CD, gains 30% movement speed, and gains a shield based on 8% Max Mana + 15% AP. Requires no other abilities to set up and synergies very well with item 3100 item 3285 + thunderlords. Range 600, 2000 speed

I'm not trying to say that Viktor is op or anything but just showing that Anivia's E shouldn't be getting as much hate as it is especially when other champions can do as much damage as her E without as much counter play. And don't even say "Viktor has to get close to the target" kind of thing because Anivia's E is barely longer ranged then Viktor so that argument should count for Anivia and Viktor even gets a movement speed boost to get him there.

She doesn't need any more changes, and she was recently nerfed this patch with the Vision of her wall being removed and now all CC stops her ultimate. That is a bigger nerf then you think.

For your information. In patchnotes 7.14 there are two nerfs listed in vision and bug fixes regarding anivia.

The "bugfix" was persisting for a long time and back then regarded as feature. We do not know, why it is now considered a bugfix.

The vision nerf is more severe though.

DO YOU REALIZE THAT YOU JUST FIGURED OUT HOW MID LANE IS PLAYED? WILL YOU TAKE THIS NEWFOUND KNOWLEDGE AT YOUR ADVANTAGE OR WILL YOU KEEP CRYING IN BRONZE ABOUT YOUR NOOB JUNGLER NEVER GANKING? Do you realize that EVERY mid laner does this, and for all other champions there are items that give them waveclear? It's almost like the game is trying to tell you something.

It's to early in the morning to think about drinking bleach, but I have exceptions now.

B...but assassins do the same. The only difference between an assassin is that the mage has aoe burst, while the assassin has single target burst.

How do you want to roam and kill bot/top/invade the enemy jungle if you don't push the waves? Why zed Q and E comboed with W oneshots a wave? Why zed's shadow cd is 20~ish seconds when every wave comes every 30 seconds?

Oh right, you don't, then you lose turret, you lose farm because you don't know what wave management is, you get set behind, you don't know why you are losing and then, once fear has seized your brain, you press enter and type in chat:

/all NOOB JUNGLER NEVER GANK, REPORT ™

Yep, i honestly think you should uninstall, no point playing a game you refuse to learn and you play wrong on purpose, there's plenty of games out there.
