Please ban reworked / new champs in ranked for 5 days.
I dont want him on my team if he has no idea how to use this champion period. Its ranked ffs practice the champion in normals for 5 days then your welcome to use it in ranked. thank you !

How about no, because I shouldn't be forced to play what I'm good with. I should be able to play what's fun, because that's the purpose of the game right? To have fun? Go to norms then? No, because I want to be ranked AND have fun with new champions at the same time, don't just assume I'm trash right from the start. Anyway, every champion can be played by someone who doesn't know a thing about them such as Vayne or Galio or something like that. You can't help that though. Keep in mind your opponents aren't really used to playing against him in the first place also. But I don't really play ranked sooooo.......maybe not play ranked for 5 days? XD
He just came out today why risk your LP its the same shit as normal's at the end , match essentially. Its not fun for the other 4 people who are most likely playing someone they are experienced mechanically with or just there main. Ranked is an environment where you play your best with your best. That simple, ranked should not be this environment where we test out "fun" champions to risk LP and bother 4 other people beside yourself ? its selfish and not logical towards climbing.
Ranked & Normals has absolutely no difference in terms of testing new champions, so you can typically just test new champions in Normals itself, while in Ranked, you just risked your's & your teammates' LP.
Riot has gone over this topic many times in the past. The reason they do not do this is because it is entirely pointless. Yes, it prevents allies from picking champions they do not and could not possibly know how to play proficiently. However, they can always pick something else that isn't new that they do not know how to play. Despite having played for years, I have only actually played as Rek'sai once. You'd be better off allowing me to play new Warwick than Rek'sai, as I have played significantly more games of old Warwick than Rek'sai, and I'm far more likely to do well with something that has been reworked versus something I've played once. You can make the argument that, at the very least, I've played against Rek'sai a fair deal and have some idea of how she works. But there are other champions this may not be true of. For example: Urgot. He is so rarely picked that it is completely plausible that players up to Diamond have never faced one. There's also the fact that many players may have PBE accounts and thus actually do have experience on a new / reworked champion. It is also possible that some players are particularly adaptable, capable of very quickly picking up new champions. Or perhaps they just have a 'connection' with a champion, and thus they learn easier. Nothing stops me or any other player from hitting level 30, spending RP on a champion we've never played or even seen played, and taking them into Ranked. After the proposed one week ban, there are still plenty of people who would not have played during that time and would do the same thing.
Where do we draw the line? What good does it do?
Not a whole lot, really. It does not solve the problem. At best, It postpones it.
EDIT:
I play things I do not know in ranked and do not feel guilty about it. Sometimes, it happens in an attempted counter-pick. Sometimes, it's a team miscommunication issue and I end up locking something just to try and work with our composition. Sometimes, it happens because I'd like to add a new champion to my roster, and, believe it or not, for many people, it's a lot easier to learn a champion in Ranked than it is in Normals, as Normals and Ranked MMR are vastly different. I do not learn anything more than basic mechanics by going against bots or Bronze players. And many champions have very simple mechanics, rendering that point moot if your MMR in Ranked is much higher than your Normals MMR. (Which is the case for may players in Platinum+)
I believe Riot doing this would help change the mind set of experimenting in ranked riot does have an infulence towards the player mind set when they say things it kinda sets things in stone for a lot of people especially the people who are very involved in the community. The only exception i can see for this proposed rule is perhaps plat 4 and higher it does not apply to you otherwise. It makes sense in that area skill level those players can actually pull off a first time and excel not all of them but they should have such an understanding of the game and itemization and overall champion knowledge because we know mechanics can only get you so far in the game. For example the
i had on my team built him bruiser but went
with NO life steal items and only one attack speed item with THUNDERLORDS.... Now we all know hes a damn werewolf thematically and needs to heal .. but no this concept seemed to have slipped this player entirely and deepen the impression he has no idea what hes doing and hes clearly experimenting or by some fluke he got lucky using this idea OR hes just a dumb ass and didn't bother to look into how
even works. Its a lack of consistency and dependability on your team.
