Both instances of his Q deals 55 bonus damage to monsters.
Why? Just so he can one-shot raptors at lvl 1?
Just about every jungler struggles against chickens at lvl 1 (some still struggle to clear them for most of the game)
But Kayn has this freebie, that no other champion has. His clear is already good, this is just favoritism.

Gibberwatt1 votesTis true. His ganks are about worthless until lvl 6, and even then they are only passable. It isn't until he resolves his issue with rhaast (read: transforms) that he becomes useful. So the raptor bonus is to help him get to the not fukin useless stage quickly. He can't really do lvl 3 ganks like the rest of the jng squad, u know.
MysterQ1 votesI don't know your ELO, but I would disagree. Kayn in my ELO has one of the best ganking pathways thanks to his wall ability. And if a gank goes wrong, he has one of the better escapes as well.
He can't transform unless he ganks. SO obviously he ganks.
HaIlMonitor1 votesHis ganks are bad lol. He is like a lee sin that has less damage early and no CC but scales hard into mid game. He can gank, but he basically is there for clean up and the laners have to set it up. There is a reason in our "super high gold 5 elo" he is 34th out of 40 junglers lol.
Gibberwatt1 votesTis true. even down here in Silver, if I gank as kayn, I don't hold any power - that is to say, if the gank goes well it goes well, but if the enemy doesn't get instadeaded, I'm basically a sitting duck, with no escape.

Kayn is balanced. He doesn't scale well. He's at his highest point early game due to base stats and at his weakest between level 6 to 9. If hes not played appropriately, if he doesnt gather his stacks, he will become useless. Kayn is balanced. Who can level 1 raptors? Rammus, amumu, shyvana, anyone with aoe dmg & can sustain through their dmg output. Kayn can do it much easier because he has among the highest base stats though not number 1 in any category and does good aoe dmg early game. It doesnt make him unfair.
