This guy has had a ridiculous play rate for years. Always 20% +
He's easily the bot lane cancer with his overloaded kit. Peel? You got it. Disengage/engage? You got it. Overpowered amounts of CC? You got it.
Come on. This guy's kit is far too well-rounded. He needs a nerf somewhere in his kit. He's too much of a frequent pick and is one of the more toxic and unfun champions to play against in this game.

The Bearded Bard2 votesI'd be okay with them getting rid of the extra damage on his autos. I get that it's for proccing relic shield, but since everyone is taking coin nowadays, I think we can do away with that excuse.

it helps using relic shield to last hit but its there for him to be a fighting type of support that scales into the game

he is a utility champ, knowing how and when to use his abilities at the right time and executing them is not a cc bot . he has multiple skill shots with long cds , his ult is an aoe slow but you have to place it right and play it right for it to have any impact on anything

yes he is picked alot... but he is far from best in his role, that goes to the enchanter supports that can use ardent censor see 
he has a high skill cap. and his abilities such as his Q and his E are skill shots. oh an he has long cd on his abilities and he has the lowest base armor in the game at 16 that dont scale per level that only scales with souls he collects or items.
he is consider ranged so relic shield isnt ideal cuz he cant proc the execute on it. so going coin on him in lane makes him significantly squishier and easier to poke out of lane due to lack of armor vs well ADCs

iLBGAMing2 votesI think he's in a good state but he just needs to have his damage toned down a bit, on his E particularly since the empowered auto has a 200% AD scalling for what ever reason. His R damage needs to be nerfed, at max rank that box deals 550 damage as base damage oh and the 100% AP scalling isn't any better since he will have collected enough souls to get a high amount of free AP.

Like, the game is better for having Thresh. He has a massive skill cap, he's really fun to play, he rewards creativity, and his aesthetics and thematics are awesome.

He's not having more success than other champions, him being highly played isn't forcing any other champions out of bot lane, and there are tons of situations where other supports are clearly superior picks to him. Popularity alone is not a justification for a nerf, and there is definitely no other justificaiton that can apply to Thresh right now.
