What if we gave shyvana's W an AP ratio?

It does magic damage. Can we give it a 0.1AP ratio, increasing by 0.1 per additional second added to the duration while in dragon form?

It feels super weird that her W deals magic damage, but doesnt scale with AP... Especially since her AP build is actually quite strong from a burst damage standpoint.

It used to have one. They removed it an buffed her E AP ratio so that AP Shyvana would feel like a whole different playstyle.

Given that AP Shyv is only really useful in her dragon form (because of the much higher AP scaling on her E) yeah i'd say it is a whole different playstyle.

Honestly her W is rather weird and should have some AP scaling...not much but something. Having it scale of AD makes little to no sense

And Shyvana could use a little more love right now that doesnt involve giving her higher AD ratios. Giving her W a small AP ratio, and letting it scale with additional duration while in dragon form, would be GREAT for shyvana without breaking her non-AP builds.

Because lets face it - standard Shyvana is always on the cusp of being broken. If her AP variant is the healthiest shes been in ages, let THAT shine.

Shyvana? Always at the cusp of being broken? Maybe during preseason, yeah. She’s rather infamous for that. However, preseason 9 is the first time I can remember where she’s just as weak as she ended last season, if not weaker. In fact, her AP build is arguably BETTER than standard.

By always on the cusp of being broken i mean shes in a precarious place balance wise; if her itemization is buffed, she becomes a monster. If her Q is buffed, she becomes a monster.

At least her AP variant doesnt have that problem. She feels better as a caster anyway.

I'm for it.
