Im sorry but if you dont think anivia is in a horrible place right now you haven't been playing the game or don't understand its basic concept. the point of this post was akali shrouding teammates and he said anivia will just ult your team under it. My point being that i will take my chances against the one anivia i see every 400 games

Riot openly admitted anivia needed serious help. And you can't post anything about any champ in the forums because if you do there will always be fanboys of that champion rushing to its rescue. For example, i post that yorick is bad and needs help. Anyone who has played more than 30 games of league knows this is true. This does not mean that people still cannot be great with that champion. Every champion is league has the possibility of having a great game, but in the big picture anivia, yorick, zilean, etc are much much harder to do it with or have an impact on the game, win their lane, etc etc. A champion can be considered weak and still do good, that doesnt counter the fact that they are weak. It is relative to the person playing. Would an average league player be better off picking anivia to win their lane and carry or fizz, zed leblanc, swain, orianna, lux, etc. If anivia isn't even considered ever, thats when you know she needs help.

Why is Leblanc on this chart? Is it because she's bad? You've already put her in that list of "strong champions" so that can't be it. It doesn't really change if you go from Bronze to Master either. So whats the deal then?

go to lol.gg and check win rates for champions based off of the relative division in which they are being played. People in bronze and silver play leblanc, zed, etc. a ton because thats the popular picks of lcs players, diamond players, what have you. That brings their average win rate down. however if you check win rate based off of division, leblanc's for example steadily got higher and higher as elo raised al lthe way to diamond where her win rate peaked in may at 55.6% then dropped in challenger to 52.1% whereas in bronze her win rate is 46.8%. Anivia's however is pretty standard in every elo. It peaks at plat at 51% and its lowest is silver at 42% but the others all hover around roughly 46-47 percent. Showing that even higher elo players struggle to win with anivea whereas leblanc gets stronger as elo rises which means mechanically good players can do great with leblanc but struggle with anivia. Only recently has LB's win rate dropped due to her recent nerfs.

I think he is weak as well. If you aren't ever played there is a reason for that mate. There is a reason high elo and lcs players pick the champions that they do. Their play rate is low because people don't want to play bad champions. his win rate however is at a balance because the only people who play him are people that main him for the most part. It's the zed effect. Zed has an extremely high playrate at all elos, which means noobs play him as well as lcs players making his win rate 48%. I will give you that win rate isn't everything and neither is play rate but it does play a good factor. When riot openly admits that a champion needs help, thats when you know.
