Potential Jungle Mages with the Upcoming Runic Echoes Changes:

Stacona··2 votes·979 views

These are potential jungle mages after the Runic Echoes (CDR+Mana instead of Movespeed) changes and buffs to Talisman (More damage+healing and mana regen), which includes the obvious and other AP junglers:

~ Fiddlesticks ~ Evelynn ~ Nidalee ~ Karthus ~ Zyra ~ Brand ~ Diana (do not recommend, no ganking pressure) ~ Heimerdinger ~ Cassiopeia ~ Morgana ~ Elise ~ Kennen ~ Karma ~ Ryze ~ Aurelion Sol

Experimental: ~ Annie (would need spell vamp mastery) ~ Azir (ganks probably would not be that great, not recommend)

These are mages to try out for the jungle, it be cool to see mage junglers that way it opens up new champions to get played in other roles.

I played Karma JG in Season 6. Her ganks are great. They either flash or die, and with her shielding she have dive-help potential as well if you cannot get a kill right away.

Diana can jungle effectively, why do you think she doesn't have gank presssure? You can enter the lane when the players are already engaged pre 6... you can take blue smite to hold people still, Your E pulls them in towards you.

If you dont feel comfortable ganking pre 6, you can easily go assassinate the enemy jungler, or solo the dragon with her (be careful if its ocean).

And once you hit 6, you can just fly into the lane and 1 shot everything.

the problem with Diana is She's prone to getting focused in teamfights and her mobility and damage heavily relies on her landing Q's. If your top lane is tanky and has CC, along with your support, she is capable of excelling.

Thankfully On-Hit kennen just got a buff. I want to try out his jungling experience.

Honestly, Karthus jung has felt great since he got that +10/20 damage buff to Q a few patches ago. And with the XP changes in the jungle, he may be one of the best champs in the game to go the passive 4-camp clear route.
