I was wondering if people feel their mains are no longer viable in the current state of the game

I feel like a significantly larger portion of the player base than usual may not feel like they can continue playing the champ(s) they prefer to play with.

I played roughly 80 percent Shyvana games for most of the year but since the scuttle changes and some of the other balance issues I realized I can't consistently perform well enough to keep playing that champ and not fall in ranked. I know that there are dozens dozen of champs in a worse state right now but I just feel like for those of us that don't want to play the meta the difference between the haves and have nots is pretty big. I don't know how Riot is going to fix this but it sucks and just generally feels bad. I feel like I have put forth 4 years of practice with the champ and purchased a lot of the skins so that I have made an investment in something that if currently pretty worthless. If anybody else has experienced this I would like to hear it.
