why was neeko buffed

why does she have a morgana snare late game after hitting 1... minion/target all because "shes too complicated so we are dumbing it down to simplifying her". so now even 1 minion is your enemy now? now shes a morgana 2.0 with a AOE nuke to boot.

Because new champ that wasant being spammed everywhere and being played in competitive.

Every new champ gets buffed until they are so broken they are everywhere, look at sylas.

To be fair, Neeko wasn't good before the buff anyway.

I'm not upset she got buffed but what she actually got was ridiculous

Thats exactly the point.

They are not satisfied until their new precious creations are pick or ban in competitive and solo queue, just being decent or alright is not good enough for new champs anymore.

Every single new champ and rework is turning into the same cycle : Released (not dominating the game) > Buffed (before ppl even have time to proper learn the champ) unitil starts dominating solo q > Off to dominate pro play/have a near 100% presence > Months later, they finally start nerfing the champ slowly > 6 month later they finally give them a huge nerf and the champ drops off a cliff.

This is terrible for 2 reasons :

  1. The champ gets to ruin normal/ranked play for half an year (and the stronger the champ gets more ppl pick them, like seriously, if i go to play a normal game right now i'll see 1 or 2 sylas per game, and its sickening because of how strong the champ is so you cant even take a break from its presence in ranked on a normal game because its there too every game).
  2. The champ players get left with a trash tier champ later on

Riot needs to learn that its ok if some champs arent meta in competitive, not every new champ NEEDS to have a 90%+ presence in pro to be a good addition to the game, not to mention new champs or reworks should get 0 chages within the first month of the release, as ppl are still learning how to play it (unless its something completely out of lane right of the bat of course), and remember, a weak champion is less damaging for the game than a broken one.

That's non sense...

Neeko got buffed simply because she sucked at the roles she was played in.

It was just a case of bad luck the so judged "meme-build" suddenly got more attention and success the moment the buff was already planed/shiped out. Seriously: Noone took this build serious or considered it relevant in terms of overall balance! Despite it being strong from the very beginning.

If they're not broken no one will buy the champ or the skins. It's all about the money.

That's kind of my opinion. She had a niche as a certain champion counter. Like...... Garen top.... or Illaoi. Or certain mids. The root buff was the wrong one.
