Idea for an Awsome Support Mastery.
I don't know where you would put in the Support mastery tree but something like.
"This champion gains 1gp/5 for each ward that hey have currently placed on the map."

We need mastery trees for every role ;l
Even .5g/5 would be great. It could (greatly) encourage support players to actually get a Sightstone ASAP (like they should be, 49 out of 50 matches - there are VERY few instances where it shouldn't be bought first).
I'd assume like 3 branches into the tree would be a fair bet, otherwise you (might) get some champs who could abuse it a little.
I don't think this would happen, anyone can easily get a sightstone and just spam wards at fountain.

What we DO need is for Ruby sightstone to allow you to place one additional ward. (max 4 instead of 3)
Simply giving you a 5th ward that you cant place is kind of pointless in my opinion. Whenever I get sightstone, (mostly as support) I only get just basic sightstone and sell late game. :/
I have another good mastery for junglers and supports- "Increases the stealth wards (includes trinkets, sightstone wards and regular wards) limit by 1."
I think this a good idea. Probably more needed back in S2 where a support's income went all to wards. Their build was all the GP5 and green/pink wards. Any way to promote your team to help ward would be nice.
I would like more options, too. But not a pickaxe sightstone since it might kinda make lee or perhaps even jax too good since that would be a buff for them.
And I think this is a great idea. So what if you stand at the fountain using wards from a sightstone? It's only 3 gp/5, which is slower than you can make money other ways. It's still not worth your time to do that. Remember you can't have more than 3 sight wards at a time. Only real abuse of this I'd see is people putting a pink in some uselessly far away place just so that they increase their income.
Anyway, as long as it can't be reached by putting 9 points in utility, I don't think anyone other than supports would bother with it.
Honestly, warding is already reward enough, and as a support main, I've never felt behind in gold, in fact I'm usually one of the first on my team to reach full build. Also, I feel like it enforces the "support = ward bot" mentality which is false and after the ward limitation change, the entire team can no longer solely rely on the support for wards.
That would have to be one of the very highest level masteries, like 16+ so that champs like Lee Sin wouldn't just get rich from ward hopping.

It'd be sooo usefull. Which means: It'll never happen. Cause, you know... Riot
It'd be smart if, right after beaming back, you quickly put down 3 wards from sightstone and instantly refill it since you're still in base. That way you're getting gold income while walking back to lane. Of course this wouldn't be smart if you still had ghost wards on the field since they'd get destroyed
Inb4 players builg all wards, place them at base and get some pretty golds
It's really great imo.
It sounds nice, but I don't think it is necessary. All I see it doing is giving the people who don't like to ward an actual "reason" since it effects them positively in an active way, instead of wardings less obvious advantages.
