Please explain IBG on Ez
I'm assuming it's for the slow? I usually take tri force for the spellblade proc and overall better-ness albeit a costly one. With that said it seems like IBG is preferred by most, even pros, so what am I missing?

Cheaper than
, gives more mana for
, slow makes it easier to kite and apply later skillshots.
Trinity Force is probably the stronger option, but IBG gives you practically the same power spike much earlier and League's all about early game power atm.
Bluebuild. Kiting and the defense
Spammable slows on such a low cooldown basically means that anyone who is even slightly out of position can get punished very hard by a good Ezreal. IBG makes Ezreal incredibly slippery and very hard to chase, neutralizing most teams' engage and allowing him to poke down enemies until they are low enough for him to all in. Plus, once he gets you low enough you can't run away due to the perma slows. Essentially, IBG gives a ton more utility to Ezreal while only sacrificing a little bit of damage. Often times how much damage an ADC can do is dependent on how long they can stay alive, not what raw stats they have. IBG makes it extremely easy for Ezreal to stay alive and makes him even less reliant on his team peeling for him.
To break down everything he loves about it: Mana CDR AOE Clear (Which he lacks) CC (Which he lacks) And Safety for E cd.

I got my answer from this! I didn't realize the AOE was damage too, I thought it was just a slow. I get it now thanks so much!
IBG was nerfed, because of him and Ekko... and is still better than Trinity.
